"Ran you should take a rest"

Kakucho said worried about his friend, dark circles are so visible in his eyes, and he looks so defunct, he keeps looking and talking at Emiko, hoping that she will wake up now, it's been 3 days yet she hasn't open her eyes

Ran is afraid that he might not see her smile again, he won't hear her sweet voice again, and he won't feel the warmth she is giving to him

"I won't take a rest, not until she's not awake"he sternly said making Kakucho sigh

"Then at least eat, you don't want her to see you in this state right"

Kakucho places the food beside him, and even though Ran doesn't have the appetite, he force himself to eat

Later on Sanzu and Rindou arrived

"Aniki, I think it would be the best if you take a rest"

Ran shakes his head, he doesn't want to knowing that his daughter is suffering, but then Sanzu punch Ran causing him to fall on the floor and they were all surprise

"What the fuck Haru are you high?!"

Rindou help Ran to stand up

"We all know that you care for Emiko, but have you thought that if she wakes up and sees you like this, she'll definitely gonna blame herself and that will just fucking make things worst so just listen to us, and take a freaking rest!"

Ran was utterly shocked by Sanzu's words, so are Rindou and Kakucho, but he was right, if Emiko wakes up and sees that her dads suffer because of her, that can't be help if she blame herself

"Okay I'll take a rest"

Ran weakly said and went to the other bed to lay down, as soon as he close his eyes he immediately drifted to sleep

"Looks like he fell asleep fast"

Kakucho said while looking at Ran

"Umm Haru I want to thank you for knocking some senses to Aniki"

Sanzu just sigh and sat next to Emiko

"I kinda understand Ran though, I would also stay up all day and night just to wait for her to wake up, but there's just so many things that we needed to settle especially on finding her real family"

Rindou sat next to Sanzu and pat his shoulder

They still haven't had any leads on who Emiko's real parents are, Mikey used all of his connections to gather the information they needed but up until now, nothing still comes luckily there's no other gang that is picking a fight with them right now, so they can focus on Emiko

A week later

All bonten members gather in their hideout except for Ran and Kokonoi who is looking out to Emiko

"Are you sure about this?"Rindou ask his henchman and he nodded

"Yes sir, even your daughter's eyes matches theirs but the mother seem to be dead 16 years ago"he gave the remaining data to Rindou

"16 years ago did she die when Haruchiyo found Emiko?"

Rindou said as he scan the paper even the blood type are the same as hers

"I think the reason why Emiko was there in the dark alley is because her mom is being chased by someone"

Takeomi said suspecting something on Emiko's mother death

"It's actually possible after all who would put a baby in that kind of alley"

The two of them went where the others are waiting
