Eternity. That is what I desire the most. There is no need for relationships, it's clear that they will never last for that long. But lately, I've been seeking something. I couldn't say what it is, but I know it's very important.I've been in my Plane of Euthymia for centuries by now. I've no idea what is going on in the outside world since I entrusted my puppet to do the jobs on the outside for me while I focus on meditating. The only negative thing about it is that I can't see anyone, not even Miko. How I truly miss her... Could I be searching for... love? No, that completely contradicts what I said before.
While entranced by my inner thoughts, I never noticed that the traveler entered my inner world. "Why are you here, traveler?" I asked as if I didn't just let a stranger into my world. "I have come to demolish the Vision Hunt Decree." he said. He started babbling on after that about visions and what have you, but I couldn't hear him over the sound of my own rage.
"Is that seriously all that you have to tell me? What do you take me for?" I said fuming. I didn't mean for it to come out so harsh, but what can you do? By the look on his face, he was obviously doubting his abilities. Why would he come here unprepared? Foolish mortal. After that little burst of fury, I immediately charged at him, signaling that our battle had officially begun.
A while later...
At this point, it was obvious that I had the upper hand, considering all my battlefield tactics. He fell onto the ground with a large thud, and he started tearing up. That was until a pink glow started emanating from his pocket. Wait... I recognize that... No, it can't be.
"Dear me," That voice! "Aren't you cutting it rather close?" Yae Miko suddenly appeared. "Miko, you did this?" she immediately began to giggle, oh how precious it was. After she explained the peoples' ambitions to the traveler, she disappeared with a pink flash. I have to finish this fight quickly so I can see her again.
I don't know what happened to me but I... lost? Me? Lose? I guess it can't be helped. Miko truly is something, I must admit. "You've lost, (Y/N)." I heard her say. "Yes Miko, you're right. I've been defeated." I admit with a sigh.
"Traveler, since you have won this battle, you want what you desire, correct?" she asks him. He simply nods. "And you wanted to abolish the Vision Hunt Decree?" He nods again "Yes," I say. "I understand now, what my people really want. I will call off the vision hunt decree as soon as I can." I reply, knowing that it must be done. "Well, that's great! Traveler, if you could give us a few moments to talk?" I do as Miko says and transport him back to the normal world.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked confused. "I truly do love you (Y/N). Have I ever told you that? I don't believe you've ever deserved this fate of such a cruel time alone." she confesses. "You... love me?" I asked, blushing. "Will the electro archon of the thunderous Inazuma ever return my feelings?" she asked. "I do but... now is a confusing time. With the vision hunt decree now gone, I don't know what to do." I said, and it was true. I really don't know what to do. Should I give up on my duties or pursue with my hope of eternity? "Allow me to assist you." she offers. "You can come out of this lonely world and be with me again." She leans into my ear. "I know that's what Makoto would have wanted." she whispered. I don't know what came over me, but those words made me burst into tears. Miko is right. I don't want to be lonely anymore. She pulled me into a long hug, whispering sweet nothings into my ear. She pulled me into a sweet kiss, it made my heart flutter.
A few weeks later...
I wake up with the sun shining down on me. Today's the day that Miko and I are going on what she calls a "date" at Uyuu Restaurant. I reach for the lamp and end up touching something soft and squishy. "Wow (Y/N), I never took you for the touchy type." Once my eyes finally adjusted, I saw that I was groping Miko's breast. "M-Miko! I'm deeply sorry about that!" I apologized. "Don't worry about it, love." That's right, I almost forgot that we're in a relationship now. I eventually decided that I was too tired to get up and just snuggled into Miko. "Come on love, we have to get up soon, we have plans today." she says. "What time is it...?" I ask tiredly. "I'd say around 11 AM." she replies calmly. That I remember, she said our date would be at 1, so we had some time before then.
"A few more minutes please." I asked, but it was more of a command. She giggled quietly and accepted. "I love you, Miko. I truly do." "As do I, (Y/N)."
