Shadow watched as one of the humans stepped forward towards the vault with a glass. Before placing it carefully, on a table with a white cloth over it.
Scarlemagne smiled. The human poured the explosive nectar into the glass. Backing away dropping the glass bottle on the floor. Smashing during this. He chuckled before turning towards Scarlemagne. Shadow was crouched a bit behind him.
"The nectar bomb is ready, your imperial majesty." The human informed him.
"Ah-ah-ah, not yet. I am not officially your emperor until the coronation. Until the you may refer to me as: future imperial majesty, whom I am vastly inferior to for I am nothing but lowly human gutter sludge." Shadow face palmed behind him. "Go ahead, refer to me that way."
"I-I can remember all that." The human said sweating nervously.
"Of course, you can't. You're lowly human gutter sludge. Step back." He then spoke to everyone. "All of you, step back! We're about to make some beautiful music. Now where is my soprano? I need my soprano!"
A small primate put their hand up next to them. Scarlemagne signalling for her to move forward. Taking a few steps forwards. Scarlemagne and Shadow then moved behind a wall pushing the human in front further back.
"Give is a high C, would you?"
She cleared her throat before vocalising. There was a rumbling sound causing the glass to shake constantly. The glass broke and exploded outwards. Hitting the soprano out the door.
Shadow and Scarlemagne looked at the door for a moment. Scarlemagne started to laugh whilst Shadow look dwindled for a moment.
"There was a time you humans waged countless wars to attain wealth like this." Shadow looked around the vault seeing high columns of gold. "But for two centuries they've been sitting here like a useless pile of bricks. Waiting for someone like me to take them." He said admiring his reflection on the golden surface. "Why? Because I like shiny things."
Shadow watched as the nobles carried bricks of gold following them. Scarlemagne was lounged across the front seats whilst Shadow curled up into a ball. Sure the scales were gone but they were still there. That's what plagued his mind. That and the humans who suffered.
He shook his head in anger repeating to himself. It's their fault. They locked us in cages and poached us. He looked up to the night sky seeing the beautiful stars above him. He sighed before curling up once more. Closing his eyes waiting for it to end.
Time skip
It was day now the sun was rising. The dazzling gold shimmered in the light. Shadow and Scarlemagne were watching as the humans began to build Aurum up from the ground.
Scarlemagne was smiling whilst Shadow was frowning mostly because of the guilt he was feeling. Though they were torn from their thoughts as they heard the squawking of a flamingo.
Lemieux landed in front of them. Scarlemagne having a frown whilst Shadow looked around to see if Kipo was caught or not.
"Lemieux, I see you're alone. Why do you return to me empty-handed when you know I'll feed you to my flamingos for it?" His tone darkened. "I expected you to bring me the one called Kipo."
"We lost her trail. But we then tried picking it up again, and that's when we found that." Pointing towards a large collar that was being carried by two flamingos. Squawking as they did so.
"The Mega Monkey's collar. It's gotten free!" His changed instantly. "I want the monkey! We must find her immediately!"
Scarlemagne then turned and walked off. He stopped for a moment and snapped his fingers. Shadow nodded and followed though a thought pricked up in his mind. Kipo must of done this. She's lucky she did that other wise I believe they would have her.
Well that's it and trust me next two chapters will be fun. I assure you it will be fun. Any who hope you have a great day/morning/afternoon/evening/night.
