Fun Gus Part 1

More than 13 years in the past.
She was straining through having to climb such rough terrain. She looked up at her husband smiling.

"I can't believe we're doing this!" She said with joy. Continuing climbing.

"Finally!" Her husband replied. "Wait, I left the stove on. We have to go back!"

"Lio!"

"I'm just kidding!" He laughed as Song sighed at his immaturely but smiled.

They pushed away the leaves that were above them and stared wide eyed at the stars.

"Oh, my gosh, the stars."

"Yeah."

"Oh, my gosh, the moo!" Song said looking around.

As they looked up they saw flamingos pass squawking as they did so.

"Flamingos!" Song exclaimed.

"Ooh! And they have two heads!" Lio pointed out.

"Oh, I hope they get along with each other."

Lio chuckled as they looked in front of them once more.
Song exclaimed satin, "A Mega! I want to pet it!" Song looked back for a moment towards Lio until he was standing next to her. "How tall do you think it is?"

"Maybe 300 feet? It's no wonder we ended up hiding under ground." Lio said.

Song had taken out her not book and begun to write quickly about the mute before her. The book was more of a diary but had formulas for how to reverse the mutation of animals.

"But, hey! Now that you figured out how to reverse the mutation, we could even have one as a teeny tiny house pet." They began to think through this for a moment.

"Right. A pet." She paused. "We can't do this, right?"

"No!" Lio immediate answered.

"I'm so glad you said that! Hugo said my name today. He can think!" Recapping the vents earlier.

"We can't take that away from him."

"From all of them!" Song said stretching out her arms a bit.

"Then we won't. We'll hide this." He grabbed the book and looked at it. "We tell our team we have no idea how we did it and that it could take years to replicate. And it's not like anyone else can do what you can, Song."

"Awe, honey. It's true." Song admitted.

"Yeah, it is."

She chuckled, "We'll hold them off as long as we can." She hugged him. "I just wished it didn't mean this would be the only time we got to look at the stars."

It won't be. We will find another way to survive up here." The mega next to them began howling, "It'll just have to be extraordinary."

They hugged one another as they watched more mega dogs beginning to bark and howl.

Present Day

A piano began playing as Shadow watched as the mute gang leaders entered. Lemieux and Gerard accompanying them from behind.

"This place is sick." The leader of the humming bombers said.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome, to my humble abode!" You didn't need to say welcome 3 times. "Come on, come on, don't be shy. Gather round the piano forte!"

Gerard pushed them forward a bit to signal to walk forward. "Now, as you might know, there is a Mega Monkey on the loose. I need you to sing to me. Sing to me of where I may find her, and you will be greatly rewarded!" Sing? Sing?! SING!!!!
