Ding ding ding... The bell sounded like it was going on forever signaling the adoptions for the day was over

Emma someone yelled

I look out the door to see patty a worker here

Why were you not down stairs today for the adoptions?

I don't wanna get adopted no one will want me I said look at my feet

That's not true and you know it! You better come down tomorrow ok?

Ok I said sadly

Just then Rebecca barged in Rebecca is the most popular one she is really mean she is eight . She calls me mean names and hurts my feelings a lot.

Hey there twerp said Rebecca

I just ignored her an walked away

No one loves you or will ever want you she yelled

I felt the tears in my eyes but I just sucked it trying to hold them back

I walked into my room an layers down and stared at the ceiling thinking about how know one likes me not even patty she just says that she does that to everyone eventually I dozed off and fell asleep

Wake up Emma I heard patty voice say your going to be late for adoption

No I'm not going I said

Don't you wanna get out of this awful place ?

Well no one wants me so go away and leave me alone!!!

She quietly left the room and I fell back to sleep
