Hello~ the text read. I looked at the time I had sent it to find that it was sent at 8:40 on the dot, or in this case the zero in the tenths. I then looked to see what time it was currently to compare times of course. My phone said it was 8:46 which was very bothersome considering 6 minutes had passed already and I was yet to receive a response from Charles. I mean who didn't look at their phone every five minutes? Not me, ha ha, who would ever think that. Well besides that, looking at my phone wasn't going to make him respond even though glaring at it might, but more importantly my english assignment also wasn't going to finish itself. Though if my English paper finished by itself I might actually pass this year! So, I regretfully returned my phone to my nightstand staring for at least two minutes before I continued typing on my computer.
About 10 minutes passed consisting of me writing down the first things that came to mind in no specific order. I closed my computer and unlocked my phone only to see no response from Charles dearest, well I guess step one might take a bit longer than I had originally planned out because Charles was being a dimwit again. To no one's surprise I suppose.
Might as well get a good night sleep of 8 hours to wake up with non-baggy eyes and bright smiles. Ha, as if, staying up till 12:30 here I come! And I'm starting to think that I'm unable to smile in the mornings even if I slept for an entire day. Well at least I'm staying up on a school night, of course! Well at least tomorrow was Friday and not a Monday, waking up on Mondays with no sleep always sucked, I speak from experience.
After dressing in a large long sleeved shirt with mushrooms printed on its surface and shorts I slowly creeped out of my room. Since me and my brother had to share a bathroom I knew that the best way to actually get five minutes of peace is to not let my brother know I was going to the bathroom. That meant creeping towards the heavenly door and pray that someone wasn't already using the bathroom. My brother, cough cough. As I reached the door I hesitantly opened it and waited as silence engulfed my rapid heart beats. Without waiting any longer I opened the door as fast as I could and slammed it softly behind me, as a way to not let him know of my location.
"Whew!" I finally breathed out in relief, "The monster is unbeknownst about my current location." With my clothes on the counter I took a timed 7 minute shower, yes echo warrior here I go. No, five minutes is not the recommended amount of time. For me at least, I need my two extra minutes thank you very much.
I wrapped myself in a pink towel, all thanks to my brother's weird towel obsession, and brushed my teeth. My brother's bubblegum toothpaste was always in plain sight and my minty fresh delicacy was always hidden and I was starting to think my brother was hiding it on purpose. With my toothpaste and my brush tossed somewhere on the counter I will find later at some point.
Outside of the bathroom a little terror stood with his arms crossed and a scowl that was as scary as a bunnies. I swear he is the weirdest person that I have ever been in contact with, and I go talk to weird people. Like super weird people, most of them I found online but a few I found from my Sunday's grand adventures. Adventures that consisted of me going to a coffee shop that was only a block away. In that time it was common for me to get into heated arguments and never really end up getting my coffee.
Shivering I tried, and unsuccessfully, was not able to forget a particular incident that involved iced tea and two baseball caps. As I walked back to my room I happened to momentarily forget he was right in front of me, sending us crashing into the wall behind him. "Izzy! Oh my.." he started to scold at me only to be interrupted by a picture of me of when I was younger crashing onto his head. I flinched when it landed with a loud thunk on the middle of his head.
Well, that looks like it's my queue to go. I ran until I reached my bed ignoring my brother's groans coming from behind me. I think this is the reason me and my brother have a strained and difficult relationship, I do something to bother him and in return he guilt traps me as way to pay him back. I also didn't have any money to pay him back as I was broke. That meant I had money at some point but I had spent it all. Every single penny of mine was spent on my collection of Izze pull-tabs.
I walked lazily out of bed and shut my door and turned off the light before returning to the comfort of my bed. I grabbed a hair tie and tied up my hair into a lazily ponytail that was barely staying in place. I then pulled out my phone and settled into my bed pulling the covers up. As I opened my phone I went to messages to see if Charles dear had responded. "Seriously!" I cried out as I looked at my phone. "He left my on read that son of a slimy three leafed clover!"
