3rd person pov

Florence Garfield was 25 years old trying to get by with her powers after she was kicked out at age 15. she's gotten by with hitchhiking and things she isn't proud of but when it comes to other mutants especially the younger ones she feels the need to help. Florence has been trying to find Xavier's school for gifted youngsters given she's not young she hasn't been able to find the school yet.

Florence pov

I meet this girl on my way up to the city she goes by Rogue. She's a few inches shorter than me I was 5'8" so she couldn't be over 5'6". She cause her a ride with me and this other dude that I was hitchhiking with.

"Girls where here" the guy says opening the door waking Rogue up. "Come on kid where here" I say giving her a small Pat to hurry it up I had to get a drink before I went nuts that was such a nice ride. I'm being sarcastic it was horrible.

We get into a bar where there's a cage match going on. I could tell rogue was a mutant my 6th sense was going off. That is one of my mutations. I can tell who's a mutant and where they are as long as there close.

I walk up to the bar "a beer and a water please" "I.d. ma'am" I pull it out of my wallet showing him "happy now" I give him a fake smile "yeah whatever" he pours the water and hands me the beer bottle after opening it. I take the water over to rogue who's watching the cage match "here kid" I say handing it to her "oh thanks" we watch the cage match for a while. After that was done and the commotion died down we sat at the bar.

The guy in the cage match was getting a drink at the bar. He seemed to knock everyone out or at least win the fights every single one he's a mutant of course but I wouldn't rat him out. Another one of my powers is healing which comes in handy a lot of the time I also have the ability to make people see what I want them to see.

Another guy walked up behind the mutant and started asking for money he pulled out a blade "look out" rogue yells I tap her "shush" the mutant pulls out claws, here we go some action he points them at the guy and the man behind the bar pulls out a gun.

The mutant slices it in half them leave "it's time to go" I say grabbing my bag and she grabs hers we get up and walk out following the man who just left. "We'll catch a ride with him" I say hoping in the back of his trailer "why are you helping me" she says getting in back "because I know your a mutant and your not being nonchalant about anything you look suspicious, you can't look suspicious now get back here before he starts moving" she throws her bag down laying under the cover that our bodies are under.

"Stay quiet and don't move" "okay" "I'm Florence by the way" "you know my name" "yeah it's pretty cool actually" after a while she starts to move "stop your being loud" "sorry" we come to a stop "shit stay quiet" his foot steps get louder. He pulls the cover up to reveal us "the hell you doing" "hello fuck face" I say sitting up "we're sorry we need a ride thought you might help us" rogue says "get out" who pissed in your cereal this morning geez dude. He throws her bag onto the road "we're an I supposed to go" rogue says I grab my bag hoping form the trailer.

We start to ramble trying to let him take us or at least let us stay in the back. He starts walking to his small rv and hoping in the drivers side "we'll find a way" I say to her she gives me an unsure look she try's to say she saved him earlier but he says no and closes the door.

He drives a little then stop "come on he feels bad let's get a ride" I say grabbing my bag and starting to run towards his r mc rogue following behind me. After a while rogue and him start to talk as I try and fall asleep. He was smoking a cigar "you don't happen to have any more of those cigars do you?" I ask giving up after rouge asked for food a little while ago "here" he says handing me his "thanks fuck face" I say taking it in and giving it back I let out a sigh after not having anything all day and I loved a good cigar.
