"Will you come for a little picnic with me today? I really enjoyed yesterday and I wanted to make you happy too, you're always stressed with work.... so I thought a small picnic will make you happy.."
"Okay"
"What did you say??!"
"Hmmmm okay"
"Thank you so much Edmund" I hugged him tightly wrapping my hands around him. He hugged me back. He was warm and familiar, he felt solid and safe, I wanted to cling to his shirt, bury my face in the curve of his neck but the door bell rung revealing stephanie and he went with her leaving me alone.
