NOT SO PURE ROMANTIC EXPERIENCE!!

Ch.1: Not so pure first romantic encounter

College was utter chaos. Adrian just got back from break. Finals for the Eastfield University students were coming up,schoolwork was piling, after reuniting with his family for so long, Adrian was starting to miss the warm feeling of being home.

However, even though he was longing the feeling to go back home. Adrian has priorities.

He had a lecture due for his next class. As he rushes   through the halls of campus, he finds his destination.

The library.

When he enters, he notices it seemingly full. Just like him, many others were finishing last minute assignments. He noticed an empty desk in the far back, so he began to make his way. He walked further into the library, placed his items on the desk, and made his way to the bookshelves. As he saw the book he needed, Adrian began to reach.... However the book was too far up.

Adrian then jumped, his fingertips reached the book but he still couldn't grasp it. He noticed the book began to move. It started to fall, and he braces for impact, eyes shut.. but it never came down.

He opened his bright green eyes and noticed a hand holding the book that was about to fall on him. He saw the owner of the hand in front of him.

Adrian couldn't help the feeling that was swelling up in his chest as he looked up to meet the mysterious man's gaze.

After a long moment of eye contact, Adrian couldn't form the words to speak. As the man looked down at Adrian he began to smirk.

"Did you need this?"

He holds out the book for Adrian.

Adrian snapped out of his trance that he wasn't well aware he was in.
"OH! thank you. I needed that haha." Adrian didn't know why he was so nervous. No, not nervous, more...flustered? Maybe it was this man's gaze on him but Adrian began to...blush?

The man stood closer to Adrian causing Adrian to blush more but soon to realize the man was reading his school ID name.

"So...Adrian right?." The man questioned Adrian with a sly smile.

"Oh-um yeah! That's me." Adrian shudders and questions himself for being so awkward.

The guy takes a step back and makes sure he gets a good look at Adrian.

"Cute name for a guy", the man says, causing Adrian to blush and stand in surprise. 

"...Thanks." Adrian felt embarrassed about the situation. "I should get going now...." Adrian started to walk away until the man grabbed his hand.

"Wait! You haven't even gotten to know my name yet." The  man said firmly.

Adrian slowly walked back and the man initiated a conversation.

"My name is..Delvin. 21 years old and a sophomore. Everyone says that I'm a giant and that I should play sports.. but i'm not really interested."  Delvin said in a calm and friendly tone.

"Well, you already know my name, but I'm also a...sophomore and the same age." said Adrian. "Are you new here? I haven't really seen you around campus." Adrian said as he was trying his best to keep the convo alive.

"I moved to this school a few months ago, so technically I'm not new anymore. Delvin said as he met out a chuckle.

"Oh..." Adrian was having a hard time thinking of things to say.

"Although I haven't been here for a while, lots of people know who I am, I'm surprised you haven't recognized me yet." Delvin said with a shocked look on his face, even though he wasn't trying to brag or show off.
