Ah, yes, it has begun. Ruth and I sat down and started to work through Becoming Miss Lee this weekend, which is putting us behind on The World Turned Upside Down and ahead on our editing. We have started to construct the new scenes, and for all of my new readers, that gives you all until about May 23rd to read all of the current draft before we begin pulling it back into drafts and posting the new chapters with the edits and new scenes. Ruth and I are super pumped about this. Hopefully, this won't interfere with The World Turned Upside Down, so its update schedule should remain the same unless we say otherwise.
However, Ruth will be taking a vacation in June, which means that there might be a stall in the edits and such depending on if she can reach a computer and has the time or not. We will be pumping out the revisions as they happen, meaning you could get one or more in a day depending on how fast we're going that day and how much time we spend devoted to the other story.
WHAT TO EXPECT: In the new version, you can expect more Bea, Ben, and Nathan goodness, more André, more Hammy, and even a little more G Wash. We'll get to explore Bea's PTSD and how the family helps her cope with it. We get to see Ben being the friend we know he's capable of being and seeing why Bea likes Hammy so much. In camp shenanigans will also be a feature of this new draft, and Bea will have a rather emotional meeting with Nathan's little brother, Enoch. Joe will be getting a few extra scenes, too. More mentions of Richard Henry Lee's prestigious political career will be brought in, as well as Francis Lightfoot's previous military career. We see the other Lee brothers as well, as well as more Lighthorse Harry. Not only that, but we finally learned who shot RJ- I mean, who killed Jerome.
So, I hope that you all will stick around and read the new draft when it arrives! Until then, thanks for following and reading!
