As the sun rose from the horizon, Elizabeth was awoken by the sound of her alarm. She checked her phone realizing the time seeing she would be late for college classes. Mornings in LA were semi-peaceful for Elizabeth. They always started the same.

She wakes up, opens her curtains and stands on her balcony overlooking the city drinking her coffee. After her morning coffee and hello to the beautiful city she would run a shower and dress for work.

Since today was one of those days, her day went differently but none the less her attitude stayed the same. Charming, happy, enough to plaster a smile and happiness on anyone's face no matter how bad the day. She'd hurried getting dressed and rushed downstairs no time to drink her morning coffee.

"Good morning Mr. Alan!" She waved to the man who worked the front desk as he waves back. "Good morning Miss Elizabeth! Anther happy day as usual?" Elizabeth nodding with a smile rushing through the lobby doors calling a cab.

She checked her watch to see the time, then realizing she was very late for class. "Shit! I'm so fucking late."She had a knot in her stomach knowing she would be getting a detention from Mr. Jonathan. The only highlight of her day would be to see her boyfriend, Jason.

Her friends did not approve of Jason too much because of his possession over her not letting her to do anything with them. But, as most people have Elizabeth was stuck with relationship goggles on unable to see his toxicity thus losing her friends and not believing them when they told her of his red flags.

"Jason! Good morning!" She ran to him hugging him and kissing his cheek. "You're late." He said with a disappointed judging look towards her. Elizabeth's friends said he was crazy but she couldn't see it. He seems normal, doesn't seem to be an ounce of crazy in him, he's just protective over me.

"I'm sorry. I woke up a little later today. I was up reading and studying for Friday's test." Elizabeth said with a worried smile. "Don't do it again. If you do, don't expect me to be around you for a week." Jason said in a rude tone. "Oh, okay. I'm sorry" she mumbled with a worried look on her face. The bell then goes off, causing the pair to split and head to their next class.
