"Alright, which one's a better header, "Time heals a broken heart" or "Pleasure of love only lasts for a moment"?" You asked. "I've got a better one!" Nahoya suggested. "Shut that stupid blog!" He smiled victoriously. "I think the first one's better." Souya intervened.
"Time heals a broken heart... But not that bitch's window." You chuckled darkly. "YES!" Nahoya celebrated. "I'm kidding, I have to be serious, some people really need this." You sighed. "It's helpful! They'll move on, but they'll also get revenge!" Nahoya defended. "Oh, so now you're helping me?" You asked offendedly. "Yeah, now that I know this was actually fun!"
"Roses and Revenge." You envisioned. "Not bad." Nahoya chuckled. "Oh, I think I saw a chocolate mousse, Y/n!" Souya exclaimed. "Yes! It's been way too long..." You lingered, scurrying inside the cafe to the counter. "It's only been a week!" Souya reminded.
"Excuse me!" You called. "Oh, hey there!" The man called back, walking up to you. "Anything you'd like?" He asked.
Then you checked on the counter's display. There was once again, just ONE slice of the chocolate mousse. Deja vu indeed. Well, at least the creepy blond wasn't here.
"The chocolate mousse please-"
"The chocolate mousse. Stat."
And you spoke too soon.
"Oh, come on! Seriously?! You again?" You exclaimed, turning to the blond who was wearing his usual scowl and glare. "I have no memory of you." He turned away, snapping his attention to the man. "The cake?"
"Dude, I was literally here first!" You complained. "They were here first, sir." The man informed lowly. "And?" And it hit the spot. You weren't going to let some creep who went to Juvie 8 times take your cake again. You let out a chuckle, which only made the blond cock an eyebrow.
"I was here first, Haitani, so if you would kindly stand in line and pick a different dessert, that would be delightful." You flicked his forehead. Probably wasn't the best choice. Rubbing his forehead from the sudden action, a smirk plastered on his dolly face.
"So you know who I am?" He taunted. "What's the point of plotting an execution if I have no idea who my victim is." You replied. "I also read you're a star." You added.
"8 apocalyptic and repetitive times in Juvenile. I'm surprised you haven't completely lost your mind yet." This struck a nerve and you saw it in his face.
"Oh! And, you almost killed some of your OWN men? Does guilt ever get to you and your brother that blood was shed into your own hands? Or were you too busy lightening up your own pleasures?" And that was it. The blond couldn't take it anymore.
Before you knew it, he was already raising his fist, and backing up his arm to punch you only to have it restrained by your cousin. "Seriously? Again?" Nahoya smiled. "That's what I said!" You exclaimed.
Nahoya tightened his grip on the blond's arm as you stood beside Souya. "Our cousin was clearly here first, Haitani, let them have the cake." Souya intervened. "Why am I defending a cake?" He questioned himself. "Correction! You're defending ME, defending MY cake." You said.
"Ah, well if it ain't the Devil twins." A tall man in twin braids walked up to the group. "Look Souya! It's Annabelle!" Nahoya called, pointing at the man, who only smiled at the older twin with a nerve popping on his forehead. Souya shuddered at the name, he will never forgive you and Nahoya for letting him watch that wretched documentary of the doll.
"She's a guy?" You asked the younger twin in a hushed tone who only looked at you confusedly.
"Are you really going to be immature and fight over a slice of cake?" Ran asked. "Tell that to your little brother, why don't ya?" Nahoya replied. While the older brothers decided to debate with each other, you decided to buy the cake.
Rindou saw you carrying a box with the slice which made him agitated that you got it first. "Hey! I paid for that!" He called. "Hm?" You recalled. He actually did. So that's why you didn't have to pay. The cashier must've thought it was your money.
Rindou just clicked his tongue before being dragged out by his brother. "Seriously?" Souya turned to you. "His fault for giving away the cake." You snobbed. "Hell yeah!" Nahoya agreed. "Auntie didn't raise you like this, Y/n, give him the cake." Souya reasoned.
"Ma didn't raise me to give up either!" You defended. "Yeah!" Nahoya cheered. Souya only sighed, still disappointed. "Fine." You gave in. "But never again..." Souya nodded. "And I want a ride this weekend to my writer's conference and snacks." You bargained. Souya agreed, greatful you were going to just give it. You didn't want to, but he could say no to the fluff ball?
"Oi! Rina!" You called, the twins on your tail if anything happened. The brothers turned to you. Rindou was about to climb his cycle only to sigh as he looked back at you. He walked towards you, as you gently shoved the box towards him.
"There." You scoffed. "Happy, Souya?" You turned to your cousin who had his thumbs raised. "Uhh...Thanks?" Rindou hesitated, confused at the matter as well. You walked back inside ordering a different cake, still agitated you had to give away your favorite.
"Lucky... They never give away cake." Nahoya muttered. "Not to you." Souya commented only to let Nahoya gasp loudly. "I'll... go now." Rindou said, leaving to join his brother. Anyone could see them conversing with Ran seemingly teasing his little brother flustered.
Rindou could feel a new feeling spark within him as he looked at the box you reluctantly gave him from time to time as he drove.
Hunger. It was Hunger.
Of the heart perhaps. Which was quite new and confusing for someone who probably has blood for breakfast.
The feeling of existential crisis over someone you're not supposed to is quite... exhilarating
