Chapter 38

Padgett Eve

I woke up happily. I had my baby and I was wrapped in Sebestian's embrace. I really didn't feel him coming joining me in the bed last night.

"You're staring, again." He said, his eyes were still closed while my eyes widened. His eyes were closed yet he could tell that. Getting no reply from me he opened his eyes and his hand came up to my cheek, caressing it as he leaned in. I closed my eyes expecting a kiss and that's exactly what he did. He kissed me, hard and rough like he always does. After pulling away as we both were breathless.

"Morning." He said pulling away and caressing my cheek.

"Good morning." I replied, snuggling more into his embrace as I didn't have any intentions for the warmth to get away. Suddenly my eyes shot open as I felt that familiar rising through my throat and I knew what it was. I rushed up to the bathroom, not giving Sebestian any chance to catch me.

"Bathroom." I said and rushed to there, no matter in what hurry I was, I didn't forget to lock the door.

After throwing up and loathing my morning sickness, I did my morning routine and wore a black mini-short and white crop top. I was staying indoors today and I don't know when will I get a chance to wear these because I will hopefully have a baby bump in few months.

I exited the bathroom and was enveloped in a bone crushing hug by none other than Sebestian.

"You're fine, right?" He asked while his face was in my neck and my arms circled around his neck.

"Yes." I answered not really understanding the situation.

"I was worried, you rushed to the bathroom all of a sudden. Why did you do that?" He asked while his face was still in my neck. I was pale listening to his question and thankfull that he couldn't see my face right now or he definitely would have caught my lie.

"I... I needed to.. use the washroom urgently." I said the first sane thing that came to my mind, and after spilling these words out I was embarrassed.

On my answer he just took his head out of my neck, his arms were still around my waist. He stared at me while I was nervous as hell and tried to keep my nervousness away. I didn't want to get caught lying early in the morning.

"You do something like that again, Padgett Knight and you will receive a very harsh punishment." He said sternly before pecking my lips and he went to the bathroom.

We were having our breakfast but I was not so happy because there were no blueberries. I had a sudden urge to blueberries and it was very strong. Maybe one of my pregnancy craving. I was looking at the table in hope to find blueberries but there weren't any, I with a sad smile pushed my fork into the egg I was having.

"Do you want something?" Sebestian asked noticing my face. I thought for it about a moment. Should I or should I not?

"Blueberries." I definitely should. He looked at me for a moment before looking at the maid standing at the corner of the dining hall. She slightly bowed and rushed out of the door.

"She'll get you." He said resuming on his breakfast. While I doubted my ears, did this conversation really not happen or was it my ears showing defect for a moment?

Seconds later that maid returned with blueberries, a lot more than I expected. I pushed my plate aside and pulled the one with blueberries closer to me. I started eating them like I hadn't eaten them before. I noticed Sebestian staring at me with a smile. I looked up and offered him some, he just lightly chuckeled and shook his head.

I felt concious at that moment, was he making fun of me? Was he planning to leave me now that he has seen that I sometimes eat like an animal? The thought itself brought tears to my eyes. I despised my hormones. They were making my head spin. I blinked my eyes, swallowing the tears. I stood up wanting to be away and my appetite was long gone.
