Xavier POV:
*still in detention*
Detention was quite surprisingly peaceful and nice, I dont have to worry about my step-dad, bullies, nothing. Well besides doing the work. Mr. What is his name? Threw me a bunch of work I didn't do during class, but as I was doing my work I noticed that I kept thinking about why I kept feeling like someone was watching me today. I sometimes felt like someone was staring at me during class or at lunch when I'm under my tree, but I never felt it all day. I was so confused by I ignored it. I was actually got into my work trying to complete everything, then there's a tap on my shoulder, "Xavier you can leave now." The teacher said. "Okay here, I still have a lot to do tho." I replied. "If you want you can stay after school the rest of the week if you'd like to get your work done." " okay, thanl you! I'm sure I will." With that he took my paper and put them on his desk, I looked up at the clock and realized I was here for 2 hours... Wow, it didn't feel like like 2 hours. I turned up the volume on my phone blasting the ballad of Mona Lisa by panic! At the disco. As I did so I made my way to my locker, I slowly put in my combination and grabbed my skate board and my backpack. I closed the locker and walked out of the school. I threw my backpack over my shoulders and started my way to school. I lived about 5 minutes away, so it didn't take long to get home.
*at home.*

I was arriving to my house, I sighed in relief that no one was home yet, which was strange because usually my mum would be home by now. I shook it off and grabbed my key and went inside. I threw my skateboard to the side of the door and kicked off my shoes, and made my way to the kitchen. There was a note on the counter,

Xavier, your father and I are going to be away for the next month. There is 300$ in the safe for anything you need. We are on a buisness trip if you wanted to know. I love you

I was happy that they were gone, well my step-dad atleast because I won't have to worry about him for awhile. Since no one was home I turned on the radio and blasted pierce the veil. I made myself a peanut butter sandwhich, when I was done I turned Off my music and looked at the clock, it was only 5:30 I decided to do my homework. Which was rare I did at home.
