"Can you remove the sheet now? All the readers are probably gone," Goose rocks back and forth on her heels in anticipation.

"Alright, alright," Spooky says, placing her hands on the sheet, prepared to pull it off, "Underneath this simple white cloth is a machine capable of that one could never imagine! Horror drips from its bolts and everyone will quake with fear when they see it! With this, we have all the power-"

"Okay," Goose interrupts, "I get it, it's evil and whatnot. But! Can it do what you promised?"

Spooky blinks a couple times, "Of course it can, ready to see it?"

Goose perks up a bit and bounces up and down, nodding as she does.

Spooky rips the blanket off to show off a strange machine. It's oddly shaped, as if someone welded random metal together. What's supposed to be a door is barely on and it seems like the entire thing is ready to fall apart at any moment. Spooky rubs her neck nervously as all the excitement drains from Goose's face.

"I didn't say it was perfect..." Spooky says meekly.

"I can see that," Goose retorts as she begins circling it.

Spooky chuckles apprehensively, "It works though. Eggman was able to attain the blueprints for the same device that transported Nate into the brain. Through the redesign and reversal of the teleportation mechanism, we should be able to get to the outside world from in here."

Goose stops walking and scans her friend slowly. Something is off, she's been spending too much time with the goggle man... She shakes her head a bit.

"Trust me Goose, this'll work," Spooky says.

"I don't know," Goose lightly kicks the machine out of frustration.

The machine shakes a bit and the handle to the door falls to the ground, clanking as it does. Goose's eyes grow wide out of shock and Spooky looks away, beginning to whistle.

"This is a piece of crap," Goose points out the obvious, "How is this supposed to get us to the outside world? Honestly?"

"I think it will, if you just trust me-"

"Alright fine, I'll only come back if you promise me no more funny business," Gwen's voice echoes from the hall.

Spooky tenses up as the footsteps draw nearer. She shoves Goose in the machine quickly and follows in after her.

"Hey, you're crushing me!" Goose whispers loudly.

"You want to get caught?" Spooky whispers loudly in return.

"No, but this is still suspicious," Goose retorts.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm sure you two will have a glorious time while I go cater to April's musical," AJ's voice rings throughout the room, "Glad I convinced you to stay, but I better get going now."

"Alright, bye AJ, go do whatever it is you do," Gwen responds.

AJ chuckles as the door opens slowly. Spooky scans the buttons on the wall of the machine and presses the blue button. The machine slowly fades as Gwen walks in. She watches as the machine fades from existence.

"Okay, nope, nopity, nope, nope, nope," she turns around and begins to leave, then yells, "I QUIT!"
