Y/N's Pov

When we arrived the staff had us all ride in boats to make the rest of the trip. I was in the same boat as Draco and two other boys called Crabbe and Goyel. "Do you think it's true, the rumors on the train that is?" I questioned looking at the beautiful lake we were crossing. "I don't know but I guess we'll see when we get there." Draco stated as we were half way there.

We followed one of our professors to a huge door that I assumed was to the grate hall. "Now before you sit down you must be sorted into your houses they are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin." The professor said skimming through the large crowd of students. She then walked into the grate hall leaving us in the hallway. "So it's true, the saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." I heard Draco say then I looked in the direction that he was facing. "This is Crabbe, Goyel and Y/N." He stated walking up to a boy with black-ish brown hair and rounded glasses. "And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." He said dragging me along with him. "Pfft-" I hear from a red haird boy next to Harry. "Think my names funny, Do you?" Draco asked turning his attention to the boy. "Draco be nice-" I whispered to him but was cut off by him saying "No need to ask for yours red hair, and a hand me-down-robe you must be a Weasley!" "Draco!" I spoke irritated, he looked at me with a puzzled look on his face. "I'm sorry about him, nice to meet you I'm Y/N Snape!" I said turning my attention to Harry and his friend. "Yeah you too." The boys said in unison. "Come on." I whisper to Draco as the professor from earlier came back.

"We're ready for you now, follow me." She said before bringing us into the grate hall. "Now before you get sorted into your houses, professor Dumbledore has a few announcements that are very important so be sure to-" She said as I started to space out, I wasn't paying attention until my name was called. "Y/N Snape" I walked up to the sorting hat and sat on the stool for it be placed on my head. "Hmmm, better be...SLYTHERIN!" The hat yelled, I glanced at my father and saw a relieved look on his face. I got up from the stool and walked to the Slytherin table. Draco pushed a girl that was clinging to his arm away so that I could sit down. "That wasn't very nice you know." I said looking at him. "She wouldn't respect my personal space." He said looking at the girl with a glare. "Whatever," I mumbled looking to the rest of the first years who hadn't been sorted yet.

After Diner

The Slytherin prefect had taken us to the dungeon to get to the common room. "Pure-blood" the Slytherin prefect said to open the door to the common room. We all walked into the room behind the prefect. "Girls dormitory's on the right, boys on the left, you'll find that your things are already there." he said. "Oh well bye then Draco, Crabbe and Goyel." I say as I walk to the girls dorm. I found Sapphire, my owl, and my other things at the foot of one of the beds.

After unpacking

[I'm finally finished unpacking.] I thought looking around at the rest of the girls that came up not too long ago. Then I spotted the girl from dinner that Draco pushed away to make room for me next to him. "Hey!" I spoke getting her attention. Her only reply was a discussed look. "I just wanted to apologize for the way Draco pushed you at dinner, it wasn't very kind of him." I said trying to ignore her look and smile. "Oh so your the tramp." She said catching the attention of our other dorm mates.

"What?" I said a little confused and irritated that she disided to speak to me like that. "I called you a tramp." She stated again, a small smirk forming on her face. "You are aware of who my father is right?" I questioned glaring at her. The others got a little scared but even more invested in the drama. "Hmm probably just a muggel." She says with confidence. [Sounds like someone wasn't paying attention to the sorting.] I looked around the room again and saw a girl with brown hair.

"You there, do you want to inform our little, friend here about what my last name is." I said to the girl with a sinister smile on my face. "S-sure!" The girl said then walked to the girl who called me a tramp. "Her name is Y/N Snape." The girl said just loud enough for me and the name caller to hear. She then looked at me with a shocked face. "That's Not True!" She yelled at me as the girl I asked to tell her came to stand by me. My sinister smile grew even wider than I said, "So then I guess you didn't hear when professor McGonagall called me to the sorting hat?" She looked back to the girl next to me then back to me to see any signs of a lie.

She walk over to me and grabbed my hair. "WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU DOING!" I yelled as I grabbed her hand and her hair with my other hand. "OW! WE'RE GOING TO SNAPE'S OFFICE TO PROOVE YOU'RE LIEING!" She yelled some of the other girls trying to pull her off me and others tried to find my father. After a while I heard foot steps and let go of the girl who was now on top of me trying to beat my head into the ground.

"There Pofesser!" A random girl exclaimed as I started to 'cry'. "Parkinson What Is The Meaning Of This!" I heard my fathers voice say as he got closer and we were finally separated. "DADDY SHE THREW ME TO THE FLOOR AND CALLED ME A TRAMP!" I spoke with tears running down my face. The girls in the room were to afraid of my father to say anything I told him was a lie, that and it technically isn't. "She What." He said looking back at the girl now known as a Parkinson, while hugging me slightly. "WAIT YOUR ACTUALLY HER DAD!" Parkinson yelled looking at my father and me, who's still crying and smiling so slightly that no one noticed.

Parkinson and I went to madam Pomfrey after father gave her detention for fighting. After heading back to the dormitory's we went to sleep.
