i and sunghoon finally reached our newly bought home , gifted by our parents . as soon as i reached the house , i collapsed into the sofa out of tiredness . sunghoon just glared at me and threw his coat on the sofa .
" y/n , let me get this straight , i dont like you , and i never will . so dont expect me to treat you like my wife , you will end up getting dissapointed if you do , like i did . now we dont want two disappointed people , do we ?"
i inhaled deeply , even though i got hurt by his words , i tried not to show it "i wont expect anything from you and i never will"
" good ." he said as he headed to the bedroom . i followed behind him .
" what are you doing ?" he asked .
" going to take a bath , if you didnt notice , this apartment is a one bedroom apartment"
" what ?" he said as he looked around . he sighed as he knew i was right .
" i will sleep on the couch" i said as i brushed past him to the bedroom .
(after a while)
after taking the bath , i changed into my comfortable clothes . it felt so good to be in my hoodie and shorts , better than the tight wedding dress . i took a fluffy blanket and pillow from the cupboards and went to the living room . i set my bed on the sofa and took out my laptop , hoping that i could complete the rest of pride and prejudice , i never got the time because of the wedding stuff .
suddenly my phone rang . my eyes widened as i saw the calleer id . i quickly picked up the call .
"hey babe , congrats on your wedding" a sweet voice said .
"yeonjun oppa! how long has it been ?" i stated excitedly .
" sorry y/nie , i had a busy schedule so i couldnt attend your wedding ."
" you always say this !" i pouted over the phone .
" i'll make it up to you , okay ? how about a meal with your husband ?" yeonjun asked .
" sure , an expensive one , no penny pinching !"
yeonjun oppa chuckled softly through the phone .
" you finally got to marry who you want , it should have been me"
i sighed over the phone " both of us know that i wouldnt make you happy , anyways , when are you coming back to korea ?"
