Because you're on my mind more today
My vision is slowly getting blurry
After a long time passes
I wonder if you'll gradually fade away from my mind

The boy stirred around, trying to open his eyes, groaning in pain once he did.

The sun was shining too strongly.

He sat up, hands covering his eyes.

"Ah good, you're awake" a female voice uttered, and once he fully opened his eyes, he was in awe.

Was he in heaven?

"H-hi?" the boy stuttered, trying to understand what was going on.

"I'm Dinah, nice to meet you" the short haired girl stretched her hand out, watching as the boy cautiously shook it.

"W-where are we? Did I die?"

"You aren't dead. We're in Europe" Dinah twirled around, showing him that he was on a beach, with a bunch of people who were enjoying their vacation.

"why are we here?" He continued to ask, as she signaled him to stand up.

"Let's go somewhere calmer to talk, alright? You can trust me" she winked, and something told him that he could trust her, as they started to walk somewhere else.

She opened the door to what looked like a very small house from the outside, but when they entered, it seemed like a whole other dimension.

"What the-"

"It's cool, ain't it?" Dinah chuckled, telling the boy to sit down on the blue couch.

"Can- you please tell me what's happening?" The boy fiddled with his fingers.

"You expressed a wish Jisung. I'm what you can call a 'wish guardian' or whatever- I'm supposed to bring you to the afterworld or wherever you need to go" she explained, sitting down in front of Jisung.

"Then- is this heaven? Or hell?"

"You aren't dead Jisung. You're alive. Breathing, in this horrible world" Dinah ran a hand through her black hair.

"Wha- did the wish not work?" Jisungs eyes widened, fear creeping up to him.

"No no- it did work, but- ugh it's my fault. It's my fault if you're here- because I was actually supposed to bring you back to Korea- but I'm still a newbie so something went wrong and"
she ranted, excessively gesturing with her hands.

"Wasn't I supposed to die?" He interrupted, only confused much more.

"No Jisung. You can't die because you and Minho are soulmates"

"We have a process. You express the wish and disappear, then you arrive to me. I have to check if the person you spent your wish for is your soulmate or not- if they are, then you go back to them. If they aren't, you die. And based off of your actions, it'll be chosen if you go to heaven or hell. I was supposed to bring you back to Korea, but an error occurred and I'm still trying to get you back. I can't ask my master either because he's unreachable" Dinah explained, she hated herself for this big mistake she did.

Her task wasn't even that hard, yet she messed up!

"Don't- don't worry to much about it. You- let's try to find a way, alright? I'm not mad about it. Worse could've happened" Jisung calmed her down.

'This boy really is the definition of an Angel' she thought, silently chuckling to herself.

"Thank you so much, being a guardian isn't easy at all"

"I can imagine"

Dinah had offered a place to stay to Jisung, because the poor boy didn't know his ways around here.

"Where exactly are we?"

"Italy"

"No way!" Jisung gasped, running to look out of the window.

"It's pretty huh? You're lucky this is a place where it's usually clean, not every place in Italy is like this"

"I think all places have something that makes them beautiful. If it's the people, if it's the sea, if it's the animals, if it's the landscape, every place is beautiful in its own way"
