Ahsoka POV
Flashback
Running, it feels like miles but the exit is just a few feet away, my freedom is only a few feet away. I know I that I can't stop, otherwise he will capture me again.

Finally I escaped. He froze me in carbonite... I know what carbon freezing does to an organic being, but, what's bugging me the most, is that I don't know how long I've been gone. I keep running, my heart pounding for me to stop, the hanger door is closing fast, I know my feet won't stop moving.

It was close but I slid under and made it out just in time.

I recognize this planet, Lothal. I don't have much time to take in the view, I have to get as far away from the base as possible!

End of flashback

I think I got a good 10 miles away from them when I reach a cave in one of those really huge rocks.

Man, did I get lucky! I have no choice but to camp out in the cave. It's nightfall anyway, and I don't recall what types of animals live here. Though to be honest, I don't want to.

The next morning I get up, and figure it wouldn't be a good idea to stay in one place for too long, but for now this cave will provide a good temporary shelter.

I wonder if Capital City is still around. I better find out in case they need a Jedi's protection.

It's a bit of a few mile walk to Capital City. On my way there, I thought about everything that I remember before the order was given.

Flashback

I was on Dagobah, my troop was following close behind. Our mission was to destroy the Separatist base that the droids were building. I knew it would be pretty much the same routine,

1. Have Anakin crash-land the ship

2. Send a few scouts

3. Take the troops to the base and destroy it

4. Go back to the temple on Coruscant.

But the mission didn't go anything like that! Anakin didn't even come with me on this mission for starters, so that leaves out the crash landing as well. We sent the scouts but they came back, a little too quickly.

When I was leading them to the base I heard someone's voice come over Rex's comm. I specifically heard " Execute Order 66" , I couldn't quite identify the voice, but when I turned around to ask Rex what Order 66 was, he started shooting at me! I ignited my lightsabers and deflected every shot. There was no way I was going to hurt them, they were my friends.
End of Flashback

I shudder at the memory. That's when I heard a ship overhead and realized I'm still on Lothal. I look up and notice that I've reached Capital City, it's .... smaller than last time I saw it.

But then again, when was the last time I saw it?

The city is packed with vendors trying to sell you stuff at ridiculously high prices. I keep walking, I check my pockets for credits. There isn't any.

"Great so Vader's a kidnapper and a thief", I mumble.

I'm not sure how I'm gonna get money, but then I sense something. (yes, Ahsoka still has the force, sorry I haven't used it yet😅)

It feels like a-a Jedi. I pick up the force signature; adult male. I sense another signature, this one just about knocked me over. It's.. a teenager? About 15.

There is so much confusion in him. Same as the older one. I want to get a better look at these people.

'though, as I round the corner I see two more beings with the force users.

A teenage Mandalorian girl, a purple Lasat, and the other two whose force signatures I sensed.

The teenage boy looks back towards me but I don't want to make eye contact until I know whether I could trust them or not.

I shift my gaze to the closest vendor, as he looks away.

I notice that he has a lightsaber that doubles as blaster. Pretty clever.

I wonder if Caleb is still alive; I know his master didn't survive. How old would he be by now?

I leave the vendor and continue walking, but I run into the kid.

"Hi" I say, he just walks passed me.

"Hey, you have a destination!?" I say. Why did I say that!?

So much for no eye contact, and now I'm talking to him? He turns around and sees me.

"Huh?" He says.

"You bumped into me and just kept walking"

Ezra's POV
I'm freaking out cause we're taking off in less than an hour and I've only found 1 of the 10 items Hera asked me to get. On top of that, I can't find Kanan and the others.

Next thing I know I run into this Togruta girl, I... felt something. Kanan told me that when I felt this, it means that there's another force user near by. I can't tell how close or far they are.

The Togruta just stands there staring at me.
So, people run into each other all the time why does she care so much?

Now come to think of it I haven't seen a Togruta in years. Kanan said that they're from the planet Shili and that there's not many of them left, like the Lasats.

But what's a Togruta doing on Lothal? She's just standing there staring at me. Until finally she says

" Hey, kid, where are you going in such a rush anyway?", why does she need to know, maybe she's with the Empire.

"No where", I reply. Really Ezra!? You just rushed past her and you tell her that you have no where to be.

You could have at least said a market place or something. Not one of my smartest moves.

"Really? So you rushed past me to go no where?" She asks.

Geez she's kinda snippy.

I don't want to answer that because I don't want say anything dumb again. When I don't answer she asks me for my name. If she's with the Empire there's no way I'm telling her my REAL name. As a matter of fact, I haven't told anyone my real name. Except Mr. Sumar and the Ghost crew.

I told the ISB Agent that my name was Jabba and I told the Imperial Grunts that my name was Dev Morgan. I'll stick with Dev.

"Dev Morgan" I say.

"Alright, see you 'round Dev.", then she just walks away.

Ashoka's POV
That was a strange encounter. The kid's pretty quiet for the most part, but he lacked manners.

Maybe this is a planet that the Separatists own.

I don't have any credits so I'll have to forget food for the night. As I head back to my cave I think about that kid from the market, Dev. He's quite mysterious, maybe I'll run into him tomorrow.

I wonder if he knows that he can use the force. Or if he even know the force exists. If I can get him alone, I'll tell him about it and teach him everything I know. How hard could it be?

It's like my master said: It is our duty to train the next generation of Jedi.
