Makaylin's POV

"well Zayn fucking Malik bit my hand, we are both having some fun with those two" she smiled unpleasantly.

I laughed and stuck my tongue out at her like a child and scrunched up my nose.

"you're just jealous" I teased.

she looked at me rolling her eyes before speaking.

"yes I'm very jealous a asylum patient called you gorgeous and not me" she said sarcastically.

we both laughed and talked more until a new topic came up.

"yeah, I heard there's a new boy in the unit coming. maybe a girl too" Jess grinned.

"more fucked up 20 year olds, wonderful" I laughed.

"oh yeah, anyway it's 12:34 right now, almost lunch time for our unit" Jess said checking her phone.

"good in hungry" I laughed.

just as I finished my sentence a loud bell rang, the noise wasn't pleasant either.

"God damn" Jess spoke shutting her eyes tightly, like that would help the noise go away.

we walked out into the hallway and looked around, the patients were obviously very hungry.

we walked to the eating area and picked up 2 plates at a time to deliver to patients.

first I served lunches to a extremely tall and extremely skinny man who threw the food back at the door.

next was a ginger girl, she looked about 27 and had almost all her hair gone.

I could tell she had pulled them out and ropes them in half because the patches were growing back and her hair was different lengths.

she stared at me before I shoved the food in, closing the latch after. she grabbed it quickly before shoving it all in her mouth.

"oh how lovely" I mumbled.

walking back down the hall I saw Jess with her 2 trays shuffling down to the cells.

I walked back into the eating area and grabbed 2 more trays.

I skipped the first rows were the patients have already been served.

I approached the cell and saw a man in his cell who was screaming extremely loud at the wall and banging on his head.

"shut the fuck up!" he yelled. "no! no! you're wrong"

I opened the latch and slid the food tray inside.

he turned his head slowly in disgust as I stood there staring.

he turned back around before glaring at me.

I walked away before going to the next cell.

in this cell there is a very short lady, with absolutely no clothes on.

I saw the blood splattered on her wall, the shapes were of hands and a few feet.

she was laying on her bed with the cover half over her. she was extremely skinny and you could see her ribs through her skin.

I banged on her door lightly before opening the latch and sliding her food tray in.

"bloody isn't it" she girl yelled at me as I walked away.

Jessica's POV

I shuffled out the the eating area and grabbed to trays of food from and old angry looking woman.

I snarled back at her before turning around.

I walked back down the eerie hallway of cells, the air was now filled with screams and shouting.

I walked past the first two cells that Makaylin had already taken care of.

i walked up to my cells that I needed to feed.

the first one I went to was a woman with shackles on her legs and wrists.

her legs where shackled to the bed and her arms were free.

since she could not get to the door, I unlocked her door and walked in.

before this i hadn't seen her face, but as I was walking over she turned her head quickly and smiled at me.

her smile wasn't pleasant, it wasn't a happy smile. her teeth her sharp and fit together perfectly.

I set her tray down on the bed before she swung at my face with her arms.

luckily I ducked my head, missing her swing.

when I looked back at her she was smiling evily again. I glared at her before walking out and slamming the door behind me.

I walked across the hall and went to the next patient I had to feed.

I looked inside and didn't see anyone at first, I looked around more until I saw hands sticking out from under the bed.

"hey get up, your hungry right?" I yelled.

I opened the latch and slid the tray inside, turning around and walking away.

we both fed about 10 more people before I was walking back to the eating area.

I past Makaylin on the way to the eating area and stopped her.

"you get Niall okay? I got Zayn" I smirked.

she smiled and nodded before walking back down the hall.

I walked back into the eating area and grabbed one last tray.

I turned around and walked down the long hallway until I reached Zayn's cell.

I looked inside and saw him shirtless sitting on his bed playing with something.

i knocked on his door lightly and watched him turned around to face me.

"hello" he smirked.

"hi?" I laughed.

I opened the latch and slid his tray inside, he crawled over to the door before grabbing the tray quickly.

I watched as he threw it on his bed before sitting back on his bed.

"bye Jessica" he spoke looking at his tray.

"bye...?" I said. "how do you know my name?"

"he told me" he smirked looking at me.

I looked at him puzzled before I heard screaming and yelling coming from the entrance our unit.

I ran over to Makaylin's office and saw her standing up already.

"come look" I said running with her to the entrance doors.

we stood back and watched as 4 men where carrying a patient in there arms.

we couldn't see the patient but all we heard was.

"you fucking assholes, you know I'm not insane"
