Chapter 5

"Arlen!?" Arlen woke up with a start, his heart skipped several beats as he looked around. His eyes darting back and forth but he could only see darkness. A hint of light could only be seen through a small barred window.

He felt the rough floor beneath him; The room was empty and he could only feel the cold floor and small patches of dirt. Where was he?

He grabbed his glasses. He flinched, feeling a hand on his shoulder. "Arlen!" Hyunjin called. "Are you okay?"

Arlen nodded but he felt a sharp pain on his head. "Ow.. ugh, I think those guys hit me."

"Yeah, they knocked us both out.."

Arlen looked at Hyunjin, his black hair was wet and his face was covered in dirt. "What? Are you okay? Just lay down."

"Yeah.. yeah.. I'm fine.. just- you look like someone I know."

"Really? Who?"

"Huh.. I don't remember." Arlen sighed. His memory was faltering and he could only see blurry visions and small dots dancing in his vision. Hyunjin spoke the entire time, filling the silence with friendly chat. But Arlen couldn't understand any of it.

Hyunjin made a small makeshift pillow with his coat. He laid Arlen down.

"Where's Felix?" Arlen asked.

Hyunjin stood up. "No clue, they must've taken him somewhere else. I can only imagine what they're doing to him.." he pondered.

They laid there in awkward silence, before they heard a chilling scream that echoed across the hallway. Hyunjin ran up to the cell.

Jungkook dragged along another stranger, a man who kicked and screamed as he was thrown into an open cell.

"No, you can't take me!" The man cried out in a broken voice. "Please! Let me go! I have a family-"

Jungkook only ignored him and closed a heavy door. Silence filled the air. The only thing that could be heard was the man's sobs.

Hyunjin sat closer to the man. Their cells were awfully close, it was almost suffocating.

"Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked.

The man stared in shock. "Are you guys here from RM too? He took me away.. he promised me I was going to be given a raise.. my family.." he sobbed hysterically. Arlen could only feel pity until he felt something different.

The feeling suddenly evaporated as he heard a loud door open. The hallway was filled with the sound of footsteps and multiple cell doors were opened. Arlen moved his head slowly only to see RM and a group of guards around him.

RM motioned towards the guards. Arlen and Hyunjin's cell opened with a loud screech.

"You two, come with me." RM said.

Hyunjin looked at Arlen, his face stricken with fear.
