I was going to the funeral of the mayor who had recently died due to a new villain called " Riddler". To be honest I wasn't so scared of him seeing as he is writing personal letters to the Batman so of course he is going to find Riddler. I did have a small crush on Batman, I mean what can I say he's jacked, brave, deep voice, and has a sharp jawline, what did you expect? But when I was there I ran into Bruce Wayne, of course everyone knows him, I mean his dad practically made this city from the bottom up, how could you not? He was quite cute but I knew how little he came out of him house so I didn't want to get my hopes up. I was quite attractive with my h/l h/c hair, e/s e/c eyes and body. I never except boys I meet to like me but he felt different he was cute and didn't really talk to me but that's fine.

The funeral took a very weird turn when a car sent by Riddler crashed into the building. I had been trained by my parents and had quite quick reaction time, high agility, and stamina so I wasn't scared much but I was so worried for the poor kid who's father had just been killed. I went to save him but before I could Wayne had got to him first, this was a very attractive thing to me but I still could not ask him on a date. The whole building was evacuated and many cops were surrounding the place. I stuck around to watch as my mother had been a very good detective and cop and passed that talent on to me.

I was trusted by many cops and even the late mayor (my mother and him being very close) to be on cases but would always refuse to become a true cop, I had a good job and told them I needed time to consider it and they have waited about 2 years for me to decide if I want to join them or not. It wasn't until the Batman joined the scene that I genuinely wanted to be a cop but, this is all besides the point.

The point is that Batman got into the building and is now talking to Gil Colson and even worse. Riddler. Riddler is streaming this all and is forcing Gil to solve riddles in order to live. The Riddler says "It can be cruel, poetic, or blind. But when it's denied, it's violence you may find" I was racking my brain trying to figure it out when me and Batman said simultaneously "Justice" of course, I was outside the building so what I said had no affect on what happened inside, that was the right answer and I felt very accomplished. I realized what kind of questions he would be asking with how he had done his last victim, they would be about his job and corruption. Riddler then asks "If you are justice, please do not lie, what is the price of your blind eye?" I immediately realized he meant "if you are meant to be justice how much money do they pay you to turn you cheek the other way to the informant" I said "bribes" and then the Batman said just what I was thinking. The last question,  "Since your justice is so select, please tell us which vermin you're paid to protect?" I wish I knew what he had meant by that but, no matter how hard I tried thinking I couldn't find an awnser.  That night I did some digging into the police force through my mother and found so many more questions than answers and so my next best way to find out more? Join the police force.

That very second after the bomb went off I decided to go the the station and right when I walked in Kenzie had said "finally decided to become a cop huh?" and for the first time in my life I said "yes". They knew I already had the right training and just gave me a suit and case to work on... the Riddler case. It got me excited don't get me wrong, but it was still my first official case and I had to work with Batman and many other famous cops and detectives in the area. Gordon and I were quite close friends so he decided to let me in on everything that he was doing with Batman and even invited me to meet up with him on the roof with Batman.  I did, of course, and Gordon told me all about the case, what was going on, and how him and Batman were going out on their own to investigate.

I was in the pit of police men (being the only non man) trying to look at who Batman is underneath. I was standing at Batman's side when he popped up and started fighting the man who tried pulling off his mask. I quickly backed away being possibly the only one who thought this was a bad idea. Gordon immediately broke them up and Lieutenant got mad at Gordon for standing up for him. I was there in the room while Gordon was giving Batman orders. Gordon told Batman to punch me, his reasoning being "well you just punched our newest, female detective" and well I cant say I wasn't a little flustered to get punched by Batman. I mean, getting punched was never a good thing but if it's by a guy I think is attractive so I was fine with it.

He punched me and ran, ran as fast as he could because he knew most of not all of the police in that building were going to run after him. I of course also had to run after him as the cops all think that I didn't know he was going to punch me but I knew he would get away. As he flew off the building me and Gordon started walking to our communication site.
