In the middle of a forest a young (Y/n) was cutting up wood to make some money for liquor because his father was an abusive drunk addict. His father was a demon of high class, he was a general during the Great War and a friend to Sirzechs (The devil king) but whenever he thought about (Y/n) he was a good for nothing hollow, empty shell, useless kid who did nothing right and was a mistake and a disappointment. He hates his own child with a passion. His mother left one day and just never came back which only fueled the hatred towards (Y/n) more. Even though (Y/n) never got a chance to know his mother he only has faint memories of her smiling and her hugging him...

Your father punched you half way across the room making you hit your head against the wall.
(F/n): Why can't you do anything right huh?! You buy this cheap alcohol and you expect me to be happy?!
He grabbed the back of your shirt and started dragging you into a dark room
(Y/n): I'm sorry dad! I can do better i just didn't have enough!!
You kept squirming and kicking to get out of his grip, so he decided the grab the half empty bottle of alcohol.

You were out cold and thrown inside of the room he left you in. As your father walked away leaving you by yourself in a cold dark room.

Life went on like that for a few years. No matter how hard you worked to make him happy it was no use. Then one day you came home after working from sunrise to sundown there was a strange man sitting at your dinner table, once he saw you enter he smiled at waved at you

He smashed a bottle over your head knocking you out for a few minutes. When you finally started coming back you saw the strange man give your dad the suitcase

(F/n): I never wanted that little shit anyways! He's hollow and empty.. he has no worth, other than being my punching bag that is.
Once your dad saw the money he had in the suitcase he laughed and smiled seeing some much money then took off saying how lucky he was. The hooded figure walked over to you as you were still half awake.
???: I bet you suffered a lot, but don't worry it's over now. I've taken custody over you.
He placed and hand on top of your head ruffling your hair
???: You did good enduring such pain, but from this moment on I'm your father now (Y/n).
Your eyes shot open in fear and confusion
???: There's no reason to be afraid now come with me. Everything changes from this moment on.
After that day your life did indeed change... Unknowingly your deadbeat dad gave you away to scientists that gave you a special "gift" from what others would say but you call it a curse.. You were experimented on, Tested, put in the worst environments. Everyday was a living hell. Till you met her.... Rias Gremory.
After years of being experimented on and living through hell you escaped. You ran as far and as fast as your feet could take you till eventually you couldn't go any further. At that point it seem like time stopped, you were thinking about the options if you died you can exact revenge on your deadbeat dad who sold you away to scientists or kill the people that did this to you. But if you lived you could, You could start a whole new life a fresh beginning. So you took her offer she was your master you became her rook. Rias along with the other members of the ORC (aside from Issei) was your reason for living.
Everything seemed good for awhile after that day. She showed you love as well as the others in the peerage. Kiba became your first best friend that you shared your past with as well. Issei was off he always seemed jealous of you or despised the fact that Rias gave you attention and not him but Rias always had a soft spot for him no matter what happened... Koneko on the other hand never talked to anyone much but she opened up to you, Asia always enjoyed your company she would even get jealous when the other girls would talk to you. Then eventually you figured out the girls had feelings for you as well you did for them. They accepted your feelings and all was well and happy til one day..
