karla Homolka is her given name. She and her husband, Paul Bernardo, raped and murdered three adolescent girls in their country of residence of Canada in the early 1990s.
Homolka's 15-year-old sister, Tammy, was the first victim. Bernardo had constantly lusted after the girl, so Karla committed to offering her then-fiancé Tammy's virginity as a Christmas present. She got the girl drunk in their basement, injected her with a strong tranquillizer she received from the veterinary clinic where she worked, and then raped her with Bernardo. The teenage girl died after suffocating on her own vomit. Homolka clothed the girl, summoned paramedics, and claimed to have found the girl in this manner. The cause of death was deemed to be an accidental alcohol overdose.

Three weeks after the funeral, the couple filmed themselves having sex on the deceased girl's bed while Karla dressed in her sister's clothing in Tammy's bedroom. She apparently wanted to give Bernardo "Tammy" one final time.
Leslie Mahaffy, 14, was the second victim, seized outside her household by Bernardo. He transported her to the property he shared with his now-wife Karla, in which the two raped and tortured Mahaffy for 36 hours, giving her a teddy bear to embrace in between torture sessions, before strangling her to death. Bernardo then used a circular saw to dismember her body.

The third victim was 15-year-old Kristen French, who was abducted by the couple as she walked home from her Catholic school. They held her for three days, videotaping themselves brutally raping and humiliating her. She refused to acquiesce to any of the couple’s demands, saying at one point, “Some things are worth dying for.” They finally strangled her and threw her body in a roadside ditch.

Karla Homolka, who claimed she was an abused wife with minimal role in the rapes and deaths of the three girls, consented to a plea deal in which she agreed to testify against her husband in return for pleading guilty to manslaughter. However, as the couple's videotapes were released, the public saw that Homolka not only completely participated in the rapes, but was also as vicious as her husband, who was sentenced to life in prison. Canadians were angry that this wicked, immoral lady received just a 12-year jail term.
Homolka debuted in 2005. She later remarried and, in a horrible, ironic twist, She is presently now the mother of three children.
This lady should be sentenced to life in prison for the atrocities she committed, the innocence she took, the young lives she extinguished, and the families she destroyed.
Instead, she received a little smack on the wrist. It makes me want to vomit.
