FeDex works at FeDex (FitzxDex)

Dex didn't mind working with Fitz, he warmed up to him a little bit when he got shot by Councilor Zarina and had to be treated. Yes, he apologized but he never truly saw both of them as friends.

That was until he noticed his perfection on everything. It used to piss him the fuck off but now he just adore them. But he covered up those feelings with jealousy, since the emotion was strong enough that Keefe had to question him.

"Jeez Dex, did you swallow a whole gallon of butterflies? Cause I'm really feeling them, it's WAY more overwhelming than Sophie's emotions, or at least it's starting to" Keefe said.

"It's nothing" Dex assured, "I'm just..." he let his voice trail off.

"Let me guess, in love with Fitz?" Keefe said loudly, making all the students nearby turn their heads at them. 

"Haha what? No way, does Linh actually?" Dex said loudly and nervously. He pulled Keefe with him and ran to a bathroom stall (DONT YOU GUYS DARE IT ABOUT FITZ AND DEX NOT THEM YET). 

"Why'd you have to yell that out loud?" Dex asked frantically.

"I just wanted to know if anyone else had a crush on Fitz!" Keefe whisper-shouted, "Flora definitely seemed jealous.

"Look it doesn't matter, can I trust you with a secret? You can't tell ANYBODY" Dex said.

"Not even Sophie?" Keefe whined, but Dex shot him a death glare, "fine, but it's not gonna be my fault when or if she finds out why I'm acting a little weird".

"You're always weird" Dex told him, "but why would you be acting weird?".

"Every secret releases an emotion" Keefe explained, "now spill it".

"Okay soo..." Dex began, but he didn't really have any words to explain what he was feeling about Fitz and him working together, so he just blurted it all out.

"So I started working a FeDex so that I can get money and turns out that Fitz was also already working there and now we have the same exact shifts every day I work there and we kinda work together. I've also been talking to him a lot more and then I started noticing how everything about him looked so perfect and it used to piss me off but now I love it and it drives me crazy. I've been trying to cover those feelings with jealousy but you stupid empaths knew my feelings so I've been trying to spark something up with Biana and trying to force myself to like her when I really don't and..." Dex stopped as he took a breath, "short summary, I like Fitz a lot".

"Wow, you got a lot of emotion down there Dexy" Keefe said, "I'm just saying cause you kinda slapped it into my face".

"I'm sorry but can you please not tell anyone? You're the only person I trust, besides Sophie of course but she can't know" Dex begged.

"Does she know?" Keefe asked.

"No" Dex admitted, "they're still dating and I don't wanna ruin things between our friendship, I was her first kiss!".

"Oh really?" Keefe smirked while he thought: he still thinks their dating?.

"Shut the fuck up, you already knew" Dex snapped, "But please don't tell anybody about this".

"Alright" Keefe sighed, "on one condition" Dex groaned in agony but accepted his fate.

"Whaaat?" Dex whined.

"You're doing all my homework for a week" Keefe said, to which Dex was relieved, it could have been worse.

"Thanks bro" Dex said.

"No problem" Keefe said as he smiled, a genuine smile.

Fitz smiled ear to ear as they both walked out of the bathroom stall, of course, Keefe and Dex didn't even know there was another person listening, definitely wouldn't be Fitz. His heart was pierced with many emotions of course. One of them being jealousy because of Sophie being Dex's first kiss and sadness and mentally slapping his forehead because Dex was still oblivious that he and Sophie broke up.
