After following down the path i noticed where the kids where, They seemed pretty upset and bored. I walked up to them asking "Hey there! Yoimiya asked me to look after you kids while shes gone, Is that alright?" I could the look on there faces as they lit up
With joy "Its the doggy man!!" They gleefully said, i was pretty confused though... "Your the doggy man right!?" — "Ah- Yes i supposed you can refer to me as that?" — "We've heard a lot about you from uncle itto!" — "Huh itto?" — "Mhm! He just left saying he'll be rightt back! its been about an hour now though.. He lookin for an Onikabuto to battle Mr. Ayato! Hes on a 600 losing streak" —- "Ah i uh see.."
— "Oh wait!! i see him coming back!" — "Hm? You do?-" Not even slightly turning my head around to take a look, I was picked up
into the air "E-Eh!? Itto??" — "Haha! Whats up pup? I never knew you were such a child attracter huh?" — "Erm haha yes- But can you put me down?-"
"No can do pup! But... Maybe if the little kids agree to put you down then maybee.. Now should i?" He said with a smug face to the kids, He eyed me to play along so i followed "Waah! Hey! let Mr. doggy man!" — "Yea yea!" All the kids where protesting for itto to put me down
"Hm.. Alright! I will.. BUT! I challenge you all to a game of hide and seek! the person who finds me and Mr. Doggy man, Gets to save him, Do we have a deal?" All the kids were agreeing, Having serious looks on there face.. "Huh?- Hey.. And my name isnt doggy man! Its gorou." It didnt seem to reach the kids as they were all waiting for ittos signal to start counting.
"Alright! You kids have to count to.. Hm.. 100! And right after that you try to find us! Alright?" — "ALRIGHT!" They all shouted in glee, I could see itto have a huge smile on his face. When he signaled go to the kids, He turned his head around me
"This your first time playing?" — "No, Fortunately. Well, what are you waiting for? Go find us a hiding spot" I said with a stern tone. "Hm, Are you not gonna complain about me carrying you?" — "There at 90. Its better then losing stamina. Now lets go before those kids plum you into the ground" He laughed "Alright! Lets go!"
He found an abandoned house not so far away from where the kids location is "The kids would definitely be too scared to look in here! Lets go in" — "Itto.. Im on your shoulder even if you said that im quite literally on you" — "No time for complaining pup! lets go"
When he walked inside, It seemed the windows were busted and the walls were pretty torn.. All i could see was a big crates stalked behind the torned walls "Itto are you sure this is a good hiding spot? i mean physically speaking- Your huge. Dont you think those kids would find mostly you instead of me?" — "Thats right.. Hmm.. Oh! Lets go in that giant crate!"
"Excuse me?" — "You heard me! Lets go in the giant crate" — "What makes you think we'll both fit." — "Oh come on. Lighten up! Besides this one crate looks enough to fit me so.." I looked confused at him "You say it can fit you but what about me?-"
My words cut off when we heard the kids, Itto turned around to see them in some distance "No time to explain! We gotta hide!"
He opened the crate which had a few holes, Not very visible to outside though..
He went in and gestured me too aswell, I was hesitant, But he grabbed my hand and closed the crate neither less.
"Ugh its so cramped.." i said as i was sitting infront of itto. "Then come sit on my lap"
"What?"
"What?"
I looked at him with a flushed face "Eh..." — "I mean like its better then feeling cramped for an hour" He said with confidence,
I could feel the blood rush up to my cheeks.. "Ugh.. Fine. You are right on the other hand. Just- Just dont make it weird or anything.." — "Pft- I wont! i wont!!"
He chuckled pretty quietly, I went on and just sat on his lap "Hm.. I havent seen or heard of them from here, Do you think there looking somwhere else?" — "Try to look at the holes in the crates, I cant really reach it.. there under there, If you can see there feet it probably means there here." He said "Hm are you sure? there pretty low" —"Mhm"
I had to arch my back to actually reach the holes in the crate i wasnt really aware of the position i was doing infront of itto- I was checking to see if they were there. They were infact there. I needed a closer look to see how many kids were there so i went somewhat closer..
Until i felt a pair of hands on my ass. I gasped pretty loud, Luckily none of the kids heard it.. "Itto what the fuck!?" — "Sorry sorry! If i didnt uh.. Do that- Your ass would practically be infront of my face right now!" — "Y-Yea i guess?- But could you let go?! Your grabbing my ass like your life depends on it!-" (Authors note: It did. Itto grabbed on his ass as if his life depended on it.)
"Mm.. Let me think- How about no." — "Eh!? What do you mean no?" He grabbed my waist and pulled me back into his lap "I mean if your really that persisant.. I guess i will" He said humming himself to a smile, I blushed. Of course- As itto
Was embracing me. "Itto erm.." — "Do you want me to stop?" — "No! Its not that its just uh.." I said stuttering.. "Y-Your dangerously close to my neck itto." —"Oh! sorry, Is there a reason you dont want me near your neck? Cause uh- If i move im pretty sure my horns are gonna bust open this crate."
He said with a somewhat worried tone, He seems pretty enthusiastic to win, Yet he still has such a childish attitude. "Well er- How should i say this? Your breathing on my neck itto. Its hot as fuck." — "Oh?" — "I MEAN YOUR BREATHING! I didnt mean THAT kind of hot. Ugh.."
"Hm. The kids still havent found us.. I think we should give it up itto" — "Nooooooo!! come on! This might be my first win in forev-" As he was saying that. The lid was opened and one of the kids shouted "I FOUND THEM!!!!" Oh god. This was a long day.
After finding them
"Well uncle itto! It seems we found both of you.. Now let Mr. Gorou go!" As all the kids were gathering and agreeing as if this was a court room. "Alright alright. You guys won fair and square.. So i'll let him go." He did what he was told and i almost collapsed
to my knees from the stupid tension inside that crate. "Eh!? What did you do to Mr. Gorou!!!" All the kids angrily saying "Oh? I mean uh- OH! YEA! I put him under a spell! And the only way for it to be gone is for you.... To catch me!" He said while
Dashing away. All the kids where following him around the area and i chuckled. I stood up afterwoods and shouted "I'll be on my way now!" Waving goodbye at the kids, I went to go to inn
Where i was stopped by a familiar figure. "Oh gorou! Thanks for taking care of the kids while i was gone! I've contacted kokomi so i can send some fireworks to watatsumi for a thank you gift!" She said gleefully "Ah it was no problem Yoimiya. I'll be going back now, Itto is with the kids, I'll let you handle the rest, I'll be off now!" I said while she waved goodbye with a laugh
After i went inside the inn i collaped onto my bed. Remembering that Yae told me privately to practice wearing heels with such a long kimono. Ugh.. This is gonna be a long week. I said while dozing off to sleep.
