The skies above the capital were choked with black smoke, a harrowing reflection of the devastation below. Flames of ruin licked at the shattered remnants of buildings, casting an eerie glow against the backdrop of rebellion and war. Amidst the destruction, a figure hovered in the air, clad in armor that seemed almost alive—scaled, draconic, and formidable. Tatsumi, the assassin of Night Raid, wore the legendary Teigu, the Demon Dragon Armor: Incursio,

From his vantage point, Tatsumi gazed down at the fallen Shikoutazer—the colossal 500-meter-tall Teigu, a mechanical god of war that once towered over the capital, a symbol of the Empire's might. Enhanced by alchemy and the maddened ambitions of its creators, Shikoutazer was a machine of ultimate destruction, capable of unleashing danger beasts and devastating ranged attacks in its "Purge" mode. But now, that symbol of overwhelming power lay broken, with a massive hole torn through its chest, a final testament to the battle that had just concluded.

Tatsumi watched as the behemoth began its slow, inevitable descent, its hulking frame crashing down into the vacant district below. The ground shook, and a cloud of dust and debris billowed up, momentarily obscuring the fallen titan from view.

He allowed himself a fleeting moment of relief, his damaged body relaxing slightly as the dust settled around the shattered remains. 'I did it. I won.' The thought brought him a brief solace, a sense of closure as the battle's end finally seemed within reach.

Without warning, a searing pain ripped through Tatsumi's chest, as though something deep within him was being torn apart. His eyes widened in horror as the armor, which had protected him throughout countless battles, turned on him. "AHH!" His scream was raw, guttural, as his body spasmed uncontrollably. Plummeting from the sky, he crashed into the rubble, the impact sending shockwaves through the ground.

Writhing on the cracked earth, Tatsumi clawed at the armor as if trying to tear it from his flesh. His vision blurred, his body trembling with agony. Tyrant. He could feel it—the dragon lurking within Incursio—pressing against the boundaries of his consciousness, its monstrous will battling to consume him. The sclera of his eyes darkened, his irises burning crimson.

"AH...!" The scream was torn from his throat as the agony intensified, the armor—no, his own bones—cracking and splintering under the strain. The once-proud warrior now lay on the ground, writhing in pain as his vision began to blur, darkening at the edges.

'Tyrant... It's trying to take over...' The thought barely formed in his mind as his back arched, and the sclera of his eyes darkened, the crimson of his irises glowing ominously. He could feel the dragon's presence—Tyrant—pushing against the boundaries of his consciousness, a monstrous force seeking to seize control.

"Nghhh...! AHHH!" Tatsumi's screams grew desperate, his muscles spasming as his body began to shift, bulging grotesquely. His once-human frame was now twisted, bones cracking under the strain of the transformation. His skin—no, scales—began to form over his limbs as the dragon asserted its dominance.

'No... I can't let it take over!' His thoughts were frantic, but the pain was all-consuming. His monstrous form expanded, his mind a battlefield where his humanity struggled against the beast inside. Desperation clawed at him. I can't black out... I have to stay in control...

With a final, agonized roar, Tatsumi's form was no longer recognizable as human—a towering dragon now stood where a warrior once fought. The ground beneath his massive, clawed feet splintered, and his tail lashed out, sending debris flying.

Revolutionary soldiers, who had cautiously approached the scene, now scattered in fear, their formations collapsing in the face of the terror before them. "What... what is that...?" one soldier stammered, his voice trembling. Another tried to maintain order, barking commands, but their words fell on deaf ears as Tatsumi, no longer fully himself, unleashed a shockwave that sent them all reeling.
