Barcode's pov :
Today's my birthday!
I'm a bit upset though.
Jeff won't be here until tommorow.
He didn't even call me this morning to say happy birthday but I understand he's probably really busy and I don't want to disturb him.
I won't lie, I've been wanting to open the box he gave for my birthday but I didn't want to because he said on the night of my birthday and I don't want to dissapoint him.
"Codie! Ta and Cooper are here" I hear a shout from my mom.
I open my room door and basically run to the front door.
I fling myself at Ta almost knocking him off his feet.
Luckily Cooper is behind him and basically catches us both.
"i missed you guys so much" I say, climbing off Ta and kissing his and Cooper's cheek.
"We missed you too little Code"
"I'm not little anymore, I'm 18 now" I say stubbornly.
"you still are" Ta says.
"no" I say, I'm no longer little only Jeff can call me little.
"I'm only little for Jeff not you or anyone only Jeff's baby" I say.
"yes Code we know" Ta says walking into the living room.
"i wonder what's going to happen when Jeff gets his mate" he says and Cooper hits his head "don't say that shit"
"urgh" he says as he sits down.
"Is Jeff no longer gonna love me if he has mate?" I ask.
"no Barcode that's not what I meant"
He's lying, that is what he meant.
