The weather is slowly getting warmer, and for the rest of the week, there are supposedly clear and sunny skies, which is perfect for a lovely day out. It was not too hot, and it wasn't too cold.

Since you and Yuta are free today, you took the opportunity to have a picnic date at the nearby park by your apartment.

You even made sandwiches and drinks to bring with you, all nicely packed in a cute picnic basket.

"Hey beautiful, you ready to go?" Yuta gazes at you as you come out of the bathroom, looking down at your dress and fixing your cardigan as you pick a bit of fluff off from it.

You shot your head up and stood in the middle of the living room as soon as you heard him. You swear you could feel yourself turning into a bright red tomato, right there and then, but a smile grew on your face.

Even after dating for four years, Yuta still somehow always manages to make your heart flutter, just like the first time you laid eyes on him. You felt like a teenager who's crazy in love, which is true. Except you weren't a teenager anymore.

"Yes, handsome, let's go", giving your boyfriend a beaming smile.

Along the way to the park, both of you admired the newly grown spring flowers. There were also cherry blossoms blooming along the path you were on. Tiny, delicate petals fell to the ground as a light breeze swung by. It made it look like you were in a k-drama as you and your boyfriend walked hand in hand below the trees.

It was very romantic, and of course, you both took lots of pictures.

After a short while, you made it to the park.

There weren't a lot of people around, which was great. It was very peaceful, and you could even hear birds chirping.

As you were about to settle down on the spot you found where the sun didn't blind you too much and had a bit of shade, Yuta suddenly started running around with his arms wide open like a little kid, basking in all the sunlight.

You couldn't help but smile and laugh, seeing him like that. It was endearing to you, so you whipped your phone out and started recording videos and taking pictures of him.

When Yuta returned to you, you took a blanket out from your picnic basket and placed it on the grass. You both settled down on the blanket, making yourself comfortable.

You began to set up your picnic spread, thinking and rearranging what and where it would look best. You had your homemade sandwiches and drinks, slices of cake you bought at a café along the way here, completed with a bouquet of flowers Yuta had bought for you earlier.

Not that it was necessary to do all of that, but it just gave you an excuse to take "aesthetically pleasing" pictures to share with your friends. A chance to look back on the memories you'll make for this day.

Whilst you were doing all of that, Yuta couldn't help but keep his eyes on you. He just couldn't get enough of you, just how stunning and adorable you look.

He sees the way your face scrunches up and how a pout appears on your face when you're concentrating on something so deeply. The radiant afternoon sun beamed against your face. You were like a bright blooming sunflower, and it made his heart fill with so much joy.

"Have I told you how stunning you look?"

You pause at taking pictures, turning to the side, blinking your eyes several times at him. You were starting to feel shy, so you turned your focus elsewhere, watching people passing by on their bikes by the river. A smile grows as you can't help but blush at your boyfriend's words.

"As a matter of fact, you have. About a million times already," you laugh.

"But it's true!" Yuta says as he tucks your hair behind your ear.

You look back at him again, smiling. "Thank you", giving him a small peck on his lips. "Babe, come on, the food ain't going to eat itself. Let's eat," you say as you pick up a sandwich from your spread.

As soon as you took a bite, you couldn't help but hum and sway your body a little, feeling satisfied with what you made turned out to be delicious. Yuta saw this, and he quickly started recording and taking pictures of you.

Gosh, you were just so darn cute to him.

You're focused on the view in front of you, so you weren't aware of what your boyfriend was up to until you glanced to the side and saw him holding up his phone, grinning away. You instantly knew what Yuta was doing and started pouting, attempting to cover the camera with your hand and pushing his phone away from you.

Yuta couldn't help but laugh at this. He now has so many candid photos of you and he can't wait to use them to tease you in the future.

Putting his phone aside, he continued to look at you with so much love in his eyes.

You can feel your boyfriend's eyes on you from the side. At this point, you just think he's doing it to get some kind of reaction out of you.

"Babe, you take my breath away"

"Stoooooop!" you whine as you bring your hand up in an attempt to cover your face. "Quit staring at me!" You were feeling so shy at how your boyfriend admired you, even while munching on your sandwich.

Yuta can't stop snickering at your reactions.

You were an absolute blushing mess today. It felt like you were about to explode from the growing heat on your face and the constant butterflies in your stomach.

Despite feeling so loved by your absolute sweetheart of your boyfriend, you just wanted him to start eating the food you made. So, you took a piece of a sandwich and shoved it in his mouth. Even while eating, he kept looking at you in such a loving way.

He catches you in surprise when he quickly crawls in front of you and gently pushes you down onto the blanket, trapping you underneath him before peppering your face with his kisses, making you giggle from pure happiness.
