As the sun shined on my face it made the cold winter morning feel like summer for only just a minute. I could hear the birds sing a little toon by my window and that's when I knew the day had just begun.

It was quiet in the little orphanage, though it's ordinarily quiet until I could hear the yelling of an Old lady, lady Fedina calling all the kids for breakfast.

" It's time for завтрак ( which means breakfast in Russian) "

Then all the kids from oldest to youngest wake on time not a minute late or Ms. Fedina would have to come in and do it herself.

The older kids would help the younger kids get ready for the day, while I lay out their clothes for that morning.

" Madison, Jack, Justin your clothes are on your bed quickly put them on now, you have to get downstairs before your breakfast gets cold !"

" okay"

" o-otay"

" Okay but you have to promise that you would eat my eggs every morning"

( Jack doesn't eat eggs because he doesn't like them)

" Yes Jack, I will eat them every morning, but only if you put your clothes on and hurry downstairs"

The three then ran down the stairs and Mary had a worrying look before she called out.

" be careful down the stairs, don't run or you might fall"

She said with a quiet but loud enough for them to hear her.

" Okay !"

They said as they slowed down but were still in a quick motion.

Mary always worried if it wasn't the younger ones it was the older kids and if it weren't the older kids it would be the animals near the orphanage.

Mary cared about anyone but hers because that's how her parents raised her before they died in a car accident.

That's how she ended up with anxiety and why she's worried so much about everything.

You would think that the orphanage would be horrible and lonely, and the teachers there hate and beat the kids, but it's not all that bad- well some of the teachers do hate and beat on us kids but, it's not lonely because we all have each other.

We older kids take care of the younger ones and the older kid takes care of each other, so no one is left behind, so we all can feel safe and we confront each other.

we all don't take anything for granted because at some point we all didn't have a home and we are thankful for having one now.

Some of the kids at the orphanage were abandoned by their families, and or they were neglected by them.

In my case, my parents didn't want me, I guess that you can say I was neglected like all the others in the orphanage, but at some point in time, I believed my parents loved me, I mean why would they leave there baby on the streets to defend for themselves?

" Addison, do you think that one day we all find a place where a family will take us?"

I looked up from dressing one of the little kids, it was Mary she was worried about us again.
