Jimin sat on the swing in the garden, peacefully drinking his coffee and reading the lyrics his husband wrote yesterday.
It was a nice day outside with the sunlight filtering through the trees, a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the tree. He could hear the distant sounds of sea waves.
A comfortable feeling settled in his chest as he sipped at his drink enjoying the warmth of the air. It's been a while since he had something this relaxing to look forward to.
He heard soft footsteps coming towards him. He looked up from his reading. His smile widened at the sight of his sleepy husband.
"Good morning," the older said, a grumpy look on his face.
"Good morning, baby." Jimin replied, putting down his cup on the small table beside them.
He pulled Yoongi down to sit on swing beside him and wrapped his arms around the older. His fingers threaded themselves into Yoongi's hair as he kissed his cheek. The younger felt the older stiffen before slowly leaning against his touch. He let out a happy sigh.
They stayed that way for some time simply holding each other.
Yoongi eventually broke the embrace looking at Jimin fondly.
"So what do you want to do today?" He asked, pulling back slightly to look into Jimin's eyes.
The brunette smiled softly at his husband.
"Nothing. I just want to sit here, eat and cuddle you whole day. Is that okay?"
Yoongi nodded with a small smile.
"I can't think of anything better either." He then leaned in again pressing his lips against Jimin's who hummed happily kissing him back.He pulled away once more, resting his forehead against Jimin's.
They stared into each others eyes.
He gently brushed his fingers against Jimin's cheeks. "I love you." He whispered as if it were a secret between the two of them.
Jimin smiled even wider when he heard those words come out from Yoongi's mouth.
"I love you too, hyung." He responded placing his own hand over Yoongi's and entwining their fingers together.
"Do you remember when we first met?" Asked Yoongi suddenly.
"Of course I remember. How could I forget?" Jimin gave him a knowing glance causing Yoongi to chuckle and playfully flick his forehead.
They spent the rest of the day sitting there, recalling their old days, listening to soothing sound of the waves as they crashed against each other, basking in each others company.
