||HEARTBEAT!!! (Ch-21)||

Standing at the door of the kitchen, she was looking at the person who was busy in preparing breakfast. Eversince Tarush forcefully brought her here she hadn't eaten anything properly except some morsels which needed to be consumed before the intake of her medicines.

"Bhaiya!!!",...

She called him but he couldn't able to hear her meek voice.

"Bhaiya!!!",..

Lalit turned around when she again called him using a little energy.

Her heath was better than before that's why she felt hungry and came asking for food leaving the house chores in the middle.

"What???",...

"I am hungry!!! Ca..can you give me something to eat???",...

Eventhough Tarush was showing no appetite eversince his father got hospitalized but it was their duty to always be ready with the cooked food for their master who was getting weaker day by day incase he would ask for something to eat suddenly.

"Wait for sometime. Let me finish it first",..

Seeing her miserable condition he decided to give the similar healthy food which he was preparing for Tarush and for themselves too.

Nodding her head she slumped down near the door waiting patiently for him to finish the preparation of breakfast.

She didn't know evenafter harming no one why fate choosed to play this brutal game with her.How happy she was with her small family before all these. Eventhough they weren't rich but their bond with each other was priceless.

She had seen how hard her aunt used to struggle in the intial days to provide all of them the basic needs when she arrived there with the two newborn babies. But with passing days their situation got better when she and Radhika decided to help Subhadra financially by engaging themselves in some sort of part time jobs.

Her aunt always told them to save atleast a little amount separately so that she could get them married off to some deserving candidates but Kaveri knew no man would ever choose her as his bride beacuse of her charcol like dark complextion. Eventhough she had never dreamed for any prince cahrming but she hadn't ever thought even in her craziest nightmare that one day she would be tormented barbarically by the devils with evil hearts.

Unknown to her a lone tear escaped from her dead eye. She wanted to cry again but her energyless body wasn't supporting it anymore.

"Why are you sitting here???",...Lakhan's sudden voice caused her to flinch.

With the help of wall she got up and balanced her wobbling legs.

"She was asking for food!!!",.. Lalit replied coming towards them.

"Here!!! Take it!!!",..

He forwarded her the plate and a glass of milk.

Her eyes shone with happiness seeing that two medium sized pancakes with veggie topings on it served in that plate.

"Thank you so much Bhaiya. I will complete the remaing chores after finishing this",..

She then immediately took that plate and milk glass from his hand and sat down on the floor. Tearing a piece of the pancake when she was about to stuffed it into her mouth, Tarush kicked that plate away causing it to break in pieces. He again kicked that milk glass so hard that it flown far away causing all the three of them to freaked out in fear by his angerlaced demeanor.
