*"Of course someone had to leak the recording..damn, I should've just told Hailey before she got the recording...what would've happened?" Jake wondered..*
*Suddenly, Jake started glowing.*
"What the-"

*The boy opened his eyes and he saw Hailey infront of him.*
*"Hailey?" Jake wondered..*
Jake: "Um...Hey Hailey.."
Hailey: "Hey Jake.."
*Hailey closed her locker.*
Hailey: "Listen, I'm sorry if I was a little harsh to you yesterday...I shouldn't have gotten so worked up because of Drew."
*"This is my chance!" Jake thought.*
Hailey: "I know he was trying to get a rise out of me..I shouldn't have taken it out on you."
Jake: "No. you were right Hailey. I've been a bad friend."
*Jake holds his arm.*
Jake: "I shouldn't stand by and let those guys talk to you like that. I wanna try better."
Hailey: "Thanks Jake..Um, I also wanted to say..whatever your reasons for joining the club...or if you decide to quit..It's okay. Alot has changed sense before you joined..So, I hope even after the competition we can stay close as a family...In the music club or not."
Jake: "Thanks..um.....Hailey, can I tell you something?"
Hailey: "Uh..sure, what is it?"
Jake: "Um...When I was at Drew's place before...I felt...overwhelmed..The guys were trying to make me believe you didn't care about me...It..kinda....made me snap? And I said bad things...things that the guys wanted me to say...and I regret it so much..."
*Hailey stood there, not knowing what to say.*
Jake: "I never meant a word I said but...Someone recorded it and is going to send it to you."
Hailey: "What?...how do you know this?"
Jake: "Um...lets just say I found out the hard way."
Hailey: "Whatever you said, I'm sure it's fine-"
Jake: "No it's not. I was harsh with my words. and I know it doesn't justify my actions but just know that I feel he same way about you and the club. I see you guys as a family. You guys were the only ones who actually support my passion. I never told Drew or the others I liked singing."
Hailey: "Jake.."
*Jake looked down*
Jake: "If I never told you this I would've gotten kicked out. I know it."
*Hailey looked at her phone and got the recording. She decided to not play it.*
Hailey: "Well...You were right...I got the recording...but We should tell the others. Before they get the recording as well."
Jake: "Alright."
"Oh Jake!"
*Jake turns around and sees Mrs. Jones.*
*"Crap, I forgot about that!" Jake thought*
Mrs. Jones: "You wouldn't be a dear and help me take some papers to the teachers office for me, would you?"
Jake: "I'm sorry, I have important stuff to do first."
Mrs. Jones: "Thats okay! I'll go ask another kid then!"
*Mrs. Jones walks away.*

*Jake and Hailey walked into the music room. Jake was nervous.*
Hailey: "Guys, don't check your phones."
Zander: "Why?"
Jake: "Because someone leaked footage of me talking trash about you. But I have my reasons."
Hailey: "Jake just told me that he was overwhelmed and that his 'friends' were trying to make him believe that we didn't care about him."
Jake: "And I found out that someone recorded it and was going to send it to you and get me kicked out of the club."
Sean: "So it was a set up?"
Jake: "Um..I guess? I'm not sure."
Zander: "What exactly DID you say, anyway?"
Jake: "I said things the guys WANTED me to say. I said that I wouldn't be a music freak and even insulted Hailey's stage fright. but in reality, I'd rather be a music freak then hang out with them..I mean, I literally ditched them for you when we were at the mall and blackmailed Zoey."
Milly: "Well, He has a point, Zander. If it weren't for him, I'd be expelled!"
Hailey: "Besides, why should we accept something from people we don't like?"
Zander: "I guess you're right, Hailey..."
*All of them deleted the recording and Zander walked to Jake.*
Zander: "If you ever say anything like that again, I'll break your neck."
Jake: "Yeah, yeah..."
