First date

My pov:

It was my day off so I slept in and when I woke up I had a couple text messages but there was only one I was really worried about answering first.

Shakira: Hey gorgeous you busy today ?

Me: Actually no its my day off

Shakira: You wanna go do something fun and grab some food ?!

Me: Sure what time you want me to be ready ?

Shakira: How about 2:30 ?

Me: That's perfect see you then

My pov:

I was getting dressed trying to pick something cute but something I could be comfortable in since she said something fun. So grab my purse take a final look in the mirror and I go downstairs to get my jacket and head to the door. I go stand outside and I locked my doors and wait for her to pull up but when I looked up she was already there.

Me: Well I see your always on time

Shakira: Always if I am not on time there has to be a reason

Me: Okay then where you taking me ?

Shakira: That's a surprise come on let me get ya door

We got in the car and we where on our way to wherever. We where on Columbus boulevard and I still was clueless cause this could be the fun part or the food part so I don't know what to expect. We got out after she parked the car in the parking lot. We got  out and we just started walking and talking.

Shakira: So how many siblings do you have ?

Me: Well I say 7 by blood 8 threw marriage, im my dads youngest of 6 and my moms oldest of 2 and I have my step dads son.

Shakira: Well I have 3 siblings and with all our personalities its about 7 of us (laughing)

Me: I feel that believe me

Shakira: What is a secret talent you have ?

Me: I don't know if its really a secret but I like to sing

Shakira: Really ?

Me: Yes I sing at church and open mic night I love a good karaoke night

Shakira: Sing something for me ?!

Me: I don't know what to sing

Shakira: Sing something that describes how your feeling

So I sang a song to her called purify me by India Arie I sang the whole song with my eyes closed.

Shakira: I loved it

Me: Really you liked it

Shakira: Yeah purify me by India Arie its a beautiful song that I know well

Me: Really I don't run into many people who do

Shakira : Well I guess your happy you ran into me then huh ?

Me: Just maybe ( we laughed )

Shakira: We gonna change that to a yes real soon

Me: Okay good luck ( I laughed )

We walked a little while longer and we arrived at the skating second of the peer and I look at her and laughed.

Shakira: You cant skate ?!

Me: Um I am definitely not the best at it

Shakira: You just need a good teacher

Me: Hopefully so

We got out skates and we started skating and I was actually doing pretty good its like I felt safe with her and I wasn't scared to fall I knew she would help me. we had a great time and we went to eat at a little restaurant and bar on the peer then she dropped me off it was the best first date I had ever had.
