"I really hate working late" you muttered walking down the streets passing the harbor when something caught your eye. You stopped and watch a very handsome man wearing pirate attire sailing into the harbor on his boat or what's left of it. You laugh and shake your head walking faster when the governor's house came into your line of sight. Reaching the house you notice a nervous young man holding a box in one hand and a piece of a candle holder in the other. You quickly walked up to him and took the candle holder out of his hand causing him to jump.
"Hello Will" you said putting the handle in a cane holder next to him before giving the scared man a pat on the shoulder. "(Y/N)! What are you doing here" he said giving you a smile "Governor Swann asked me to watch over Lady Elizabeth at the naming ceremony today" he nods and looks past you at the staircase causing you to turn your head to see the Governor
"Mr. Turner, (Y/N) " you both bowed slightly "Oh, sir. I brought you your order" Will said sets the case down on the table and pulling out a beautiful sword gently handing it to Governor Swann to examined it closely.
"If I may" he nods and hands the sword back. Will balance the sword between the blade and the handle with two of his fingers "As you can see the blade is bent steel and the handle has gold insists. Perfectly Balance" he said flips the sword over and places it back into the case.
"How delightful this will be a great gift for Commodore Norrington. Do please pass my blessing to your master" Will's face falls slightly "I shall a blacksmith appreciates when his work is praised". "Will" a familiar voice called from upstairs causing everyone's heads to turn to see Elizabeth in a beautiful dress "I had a dream about you last night" she said to Will completely ignoring you and her father.
"Elizabeth" her father said but she cut him off "Of the day we meet, remember" Will smiled softly "How can I forget, Miss Swann" she playfully pouts "How many times have I told you too call me Elizabeth" Will nods his head still in a daze "At least once more Miss Swann" her face falls into a neutral expression
"Elizabeth we must be going" She nods and turns to Will before walking out "Goodbye, Mr. Turner" you watch as he softly breathed out a "Goodbye, Elizabeth". You stand next to him placing a hand on his head and sigh causing him to rolls his eyes
"I know, I know can we talk about this later" you roll your eyes but nod and pull him into a tight hug "You did an outstanding job on the sword like always, little brother. I'm proud of you" he grinned and kisses your cheek "Thank you. Stay safe out there. I'll pick you up later." you nod and climb into the carriage with the Swanns.
