A/N- I have made Hermione older, she is now twelve instead of nine. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hermione Granger loved to sing, so for her seventh birthday her parents kept her out of school, and they flew New York, where they had a nice lunch before seeing an early showing of "Wicked" Hermione, was so excited that she spent the whole way home Thanking her parents, and saying  "How this had been the best day of her life. Little did she know that her parents had another surprise for her the next day as well, they had arranged for Hermione to start taking singing lessons with Miss Rose, (The best singing and vocal couch in all of London, or so they'd been told. And she'd better be good for what they were paying her)

Five Years Later
Hermione had been taking lessons with Miss Rose for three year before meeting Draco Malfoy, a years, before the woman called The Grangers, asking "If they could come into her office for a meeting? While Hermione was at school." After the call both John and Mary Granger couldn't help but wonder what the music teacher has to say. Mary was thinking aloud as she says "Surely this can not be bad news, or else Miss Rose would want to speak with Hermione as well." "I would assume so, Honey!" John says as he locked up the dentist office doors, before heading towards the car to drive across town during his and Mary's hour lunch break. At the meeting Miss Rose tells the nervous parents "I am sorry to have made you worry! Hermione is doing wonderful, she is actually excelling at a fantastic rate, much better than some of the children that have started at a younger age. Which is actually what I have called you in here about, you see I have a good friend in the administration office at Hogwarts School of Preforming Arts in Scotland, and  she has information me that they have a spot opening up, and I personally think that Hermione will fit in wonderful there. And if you'd like I would love to write Hermione a lovely recommendation, but you should also know that admission into such an elite school isn't cheap! Not to mention that Hogwarts is a very demanding school, not that Hermione isn't a good student, because I know that she is, but Hogwarts teacher tend to push their students much harder than public schools. Plus every student their will be talented singer, dancer, and performs, so she'll literally have to fight for everything. Which is why I asked for the two of you to come in without her, so this way you could have an opportunity to talk it over, and if you have any questions feel free to call me at any time." Miss Rose said as she shook hands with both John and Mary, half expecting them to leave her office and talk this over, but they don't. Instead Mary looks at her and says "We don't need to think anything over, if you think that Hermione can get into Hogwarts and do well, than that is what we want for our daughter. So yes, please get in contact with whomever you need to, and let us know what we need to do on our end, but please do not tell Hermione just yet! Let's make sure that she get excepted before getting her hopes up." Little did Miss Rose know that Mary's mother was the Headmistress at Hogwarts, and she had been trying for the last three years to get her Granddaughter into this elite school, but unfortunately they need someone outside of the family to give her a recommendation, and now they had it.
