Preference 7 - How They Comfort You

𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌
Dream will hold your face and allow you to nuzzle into the affection if you want. Small reassurance here and there, but he doesn't get too physical. You need time to calm yourself before he can trust being somewhat vulnerable for you.
"Deep breaths, sweetheart. Deep breaths..."

𝐆𝐄𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄
He just patiently waits for you to finish up whatever tantrum you're having. He doesn't really do much comfort, but a small pat on the back will do.
"There...there..."

𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐍𝐀𝐏
He'll squeeze you as tight as he can, trying to get you to stop crying. You're not supposed to be sad. You're supposed to be happy! He loves you. He keeps you safe from the cruel world. Why aren't you happy. He prays his hugs will cheer you up.
"It's okay it's okay it's okay..."

𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐋
He holds you in his lap and kisses all over your face. He often praises you for everything good you've been doing before to let you know that you're making him happy and not risking getting harmed of any sort. You fall victim to Karl's praises. They're so soft and sweet...
"You've been doing so good, Y/N..."

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐘
He allows you to sit by an open window. He watches you and you're not allowed to go outside, but sitting there with fresh air on your face is relaxing and you simply lean on the window frame, taking deep and calming breaths as he rubs your back from behind.
"Just focus on the outdoors...try and relax..."

𝐉𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐓
He doesn't. He wants you to get over it so that he can love you.
"Stop crying. It's gross."

𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐔𝐑
Praise and gifts. He praises your body, kissing all over your neck, face, thighs, stomach. Anywhere he can to make you feel beautiful. If that doesn't work, he'll panic and give you things that usually make you happy. He gets nervous seeing you so upset and worries he did something...which he usually does without knowing.
"I'm sorry, my love! Are you okay? Do you need anything else?"
