Alex POV:
It was a Monday morning before school and we all weren't read to go back. Me and my friends all hate this week for what it has to come. So many things have happened since the Spring Break started and now we have to deal with them all. "Son, come get your lunch." My mom is always making me lunch because school has terrible food and I'm not about to eat a pile of slop. For god sake, prison food is like a 5-star meal compared to what we eat at school. "Coming mom. Is Cassie coming with me today?" I ask my mom because Cassie is my little sister and I bring her to school some days when she can't take the bus. She has a personality issue that no one in my town understands. But added that no one on the outside of this town understands this town. The outside world is something only a few people know about here in Seclusion City. The name is kind of straight forward, I know, but that's what it was named. "Cassie, do you need a ride honey?" My mom yells across the house. "No mommy, no I don't. I'm not going to school." Did my little sister just say she's refusing to go to school. My mom won't be happy. "What the hell did you just say missy?!" She's pissed now like usual on Mondays. "I don't want to go to school, so I'm not. You can't make me do something I don't want. Alex will just call Parent Services." Why the hell would I do such a thing?! This bitch is insane! "Mom, did she take her meds?" I pull her off to the side for a minute. "Alex, I think she hasn't taken anything since she was prescribed it." "And so you don't force her to take them?" I wish dad would have never left. They say once you leave the town, you never return. One day I will leave this place but not like this. My family is unstable and so am I. "Shit! I'm going to be late! Bye mom, I love you!" I rush out the door and trip on my shoe. I fall to the ground on my face and I look up to see a girl in front of me. "Well good morning to you too!" I don't have time for this random chick! "Look, we can chat later but I got to get to school!" "Ohh, I'm sorry. Do you take the bus or do you drive?" I hate when people ask me this question, it usually ends up in me driving them to school. "I drive most of the days, why do you ask?" "I need a ride. Please? I can make up for it later!" Told you, man why does this happen to me. She seems new though. I'll question her on the way to school. "Well I don't have time to chit-chat. Get in so we can leave!" We get in the car and the first 5 minutes was completely silent, like creepy quiet! Then she burst into full excitement like when we first met 10 minutes ago. This chick is crazy! "Girl, what's your name? Did you just move in?" "Oh I'm so sorry! My names Annie, and yes. I'm your neighbor." That explains why she was in front my house. "Ahh, nice to meet you. My names A-" "Alex! Yes I know! I've heard so much about you." Not one of these chicks! I hate when people cut me off. Wait... How does she know about me already? "Who told you about me? Was it Katie?" I ask her waiting for the word 'Yes'. "Indeed Mr. Alex."

"We are here Annie. Bye." She gets out with a frown because I was being kind of rude there, but she's aggravating. Sadly, I'm positive she's not going to leave me alone. Ugh time for school and this day can only get worse.
