"Hyung I think you should tell dad about your decision as soon as possible. Because it'll be problem if you wait more." Taehyung said
"Yeah I know, I'll tell him soon. The board meeting is next month so I don't have enough time." Namjoon replied him
Mr. Kim was the Chairman of Kim Enterprise. He has two sons. Kim Namjoon the older and Kim Taehyung the younger one. Kim Namjoon was very talented. His father wanted him to inherit the company but he wants to be a Professor. Kim Taehyung is also talented. His mind was good for buisness. He doesn't mind anything what he still do in future. He just wanted a happy life. Taehyung wanted his brother to achieve his dream. So right now he was helping him.
"Let's go Hyung" Taehyung said to Namjoon. "Yeah I have to, let's go" Namjoon said and they both headed to their father's office. "Good morning dad" Namjoon greeted his father. "Yeah, morning son." Mr. Kim greeted him back with a small smile and placed his tea cup on the table. "Go through this files and sign them" Mr. Kim commanded him. "Dad I'm not here to sign these files today." He said to his father. Mr. Kim tilted his head from the cup and look at his son with confusion written all over his face. "What do you mean son?" He asked his son. "Dad I have something to talk with you." Namjoon said. "Go ahead, I'm on ears." Mr. Kim said and again placed his tea cup on the table. Namjoon took a deep breath and said "Dad I don't want to inherit this company, I want to be a professor."
Mr. Kim looked at him and sighed. "Listen son, I don't know from where you get this idea but take this out of your head. You belonged to here, what do you mean by that you don't want to inherit this company?" He said to him with full of authority in his voice. "Dad, try to understand. I really don't like doing these things. I love teaching, and and I want to do what I love. You're just forcing me to do the things I don't like." Namjoon protested. "Then what about your duties? Who's gonna do that?!" Mr. Kim said with frustration. "I'm going to my cabin, and I'm taking these files. I'll read them and signed them." Taehyung said to Mr. Kim and made his way to the cabin while secretly showing a thumbs up towards his Hyung. "The board meeting is next month. Do you even have any idea what am I going to say?! I'm going to represent you as the CEO but you-" Mr. Kim yelled at him. "I really am not suitable for that position. Taehyung should be the one. He has that potential and you too know that clearly don't you?!" Namjoon said rising his voice a bit and ran his hand through his hair.
"But he's still young. He needs so many things to learn. How can he be the CEO? Do you even listen your own words that what you're saying?!" Mr. Kim sighed. "Wait about a year. I'll teach him all by myself. Trust me, if he inherits the CEO position it'll be great. He's more capable than me when it's comes to buisness." Namjoon said with confident. "Then what about you? What are you gonna do?" Mr. Kim asked looking at him. "I have already got a job. Long ago I interviewed in Seoul University, and I got the mail from them yesterday. I got the job as English professor." He replied to Mr. Kim. "You applied at our University? Why did you go for interview? You can get any position you want there." Mr. Kim said. "No dad, I wanted to get there by my ability not by my name." Namjoon proudly said.
"Looks like you already are prepared then why bother to telling me?" Mr. Kim stated. "I was not telling you dad. I was asking for permission." Namjoon said. "Does that mean if I tell you to stay in our company will you stay?" Mr. Kim said. Namjoon stayed quiet for a while and turned his gaze at the floor. "Don't worry I'm not gonna say that. Just prepared Taehyung." Mr. Kim stated with a small laugh. "Thanks dad really really thank you." Namjoon said and smiled at his father. "Oh, Just handle the company for today, I have a meeting in this evening." Mr. Kim said. "With Mr. Lee?" Namjoon curiously asked. "Yes, you know he's an important member of boards and also a friend of mine. I have to meet him." Mr. Kim said. "Ah, Ok dad, I'll handle." Namjoon confirmed Mr. Kim.
