DANGEROUS MIST (part 1).

Jaxon's POV
I smiled happily as I walked beside Raven to her table. She stopped at a table at the right side of the hall and beckoned me to sit down.
"Andy, this is Jaxon, one of my friends", she said pointing to me "and this Andy for Andrew, one of my roommates", she said pointing to her friend and started digging into her food.
We all chatted noisily about our childhood, the the weird stuffs we all did and all. I watched as Raven laughed loudly, showing her white set of teeth. She was lovable, beautiful, friendly, and fun to be with and I wish she could just marry me.
"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen", I heard a man say as I drifted out of my thought. All students turned to the podium at the front of the hall. Probably the hall was both used as the dining hall and an auditorium.
The man continued "It is really a joyful thing for us to be here together today. You all will the 7th set of students to be accepted here in Paluelsa. Your parents or guardians all have different reasons for sending you here. To get you trained in different ways, in handling weapons, learn to behave in your different courts but so you know, all of you here are royalties and so on. Before I continue, I am Din.Kingsworth, the head of the Golden Cirle of Paluelsa which consists of the heads on each department", he stopped as he was accorded with a thunderous applause.
He continued by stating the rules and regulations, after that, we were all dismissed. We all continued our dinner while some students stood up to go to their hostels.
"Aaaarghh, I'm feeling sleepy already", Raven said as she stretched out.
"Should we be going to the hostel now?", Andy asked.
"No, no, finish your food, I'll wait", Raven replied.
"I'm done, I'm also tired".
"Okay then, let's get going", I cut in. I was also tired but I didn't want to show it.
The three of us stood up and walked tiredly outside the dining all. When Andy, Raven and I got outside after several attempts to avoid being stepped on by other students, I faced Raven and smiled at her. Her eyes were shining brightly as the moonlight shone on her. She really was a pretty woman, I even felt like hugging her right there to show how happy I was to have her as a friend.
"I'm very sorry for this evening", I finally said.
"I should be the one apologizing not you. We are friends now which means no bad feelings between us".
"Thank you very much, good night", I said as I turned to go to my hostel.
"Night", she waved as she started walking.
"Bye", Andy said, following Raven.
I had only walked few steps when I heard her call out my name. "Jaxon!".
I turned to her with a questioning look.
"What room are you at? Mine is room 010", she shouted.
"Room 011. I will come visiting tomorrow, ok?", I shouted back.
She nodded shyly as she pulled Andy who waved me goodbye towards their hostel. I watched them go till they disappeared into the night.

Raven's POV
Immediately Andy and I got our room, I went to the bathroom to have a very cold bath while Andy fell asleep with her clothes on. After the shower, I dried my hair with a towel and put on my nightie. The bed was surprisingly soft, no wonder Andy couldn't resist sleeping off immediately. Lols, not like haven't slept on it before though.
It was obvious we didn't have the same fate because, after an hour, I still couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about Jaxon, his smile, his laughter which was intoxicating. Whenever he looked at me adoringly, which was almost all the time, my knees became weak. I think I'm beginning to like him.

"Hey babe wake up", Andy said as she patted my arm gently.
"Just let me steal another ten minutes please", I said as I removed the pillow from under my head. I places it on my head and pressed it tightly to my ears to block me from hearing whatever Andy was saying.
When she saw I wasn't going to stand up, she pulled my legs and started dragging me from the bed.
"Okay, okay fine", I said amidst laughter when she started to tickle me.
I groaned as I stood up and went to take my bath. While I was bathing, Andy helped me lay my bed and prepared the hair dryer. After ten minutes, I was done dressing up and I checked my time table and saw that I was having elementals.
     Wtf is elementals again? When this isn't Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Gosh.
     Andy was having one class that's about how to behave in the royal court and all, I can't really remember what she called it.
     We both went to our different destinations after bidding each other goodluck when we left the hostel. I asked for directions to get to my class and I was told it was beside the boy's hostel. I walked slowly as I admired my surroundings, Andy was right, I haven't seen much of Paluelsa. I really didn't mind walking around, I was still a bit early for class.
     I finally got the building where my class will be taking place. I found the elemental class quite easily and I entered while praying silently that my first day should go on without trouble cos you know, I'm quite troublesome. Few students were already seated, some talking like they've known each other for long, and others sitting silently.
     When I got seated, I decided to while away my time by checking out the room. My eyes finally landed on a shelf at the far end of the room where different sizes of bottles were kept. I stood up and walked towards the shelf. Different colors of things like clouds of mist were in each bottle.
     Is this truly like Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Is Dumbledore the principal?
     It was as if the mist inside the bottles had life because they were moving. Even the feeling around the shelf was dark, it was putting off some energy that was telling me I shouldn't be there.
     I still couldn't resist the urge to take one of the bottles with white mist in it. As I held it, it felt right in my hands like I was mainly for me. As I put my hand on the lid of the bottle to open it, a voice stopped me.
     "DONT!!!".
     The suddenness and seriousness of the voice made my hands shake terribly. Am I going to be punished? This is my first class and it's going to start with me being punished? Aaaah! Raven, screw you".
     I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize I was loosing my grip on the bottle till it fell on the floor.
     "Fuck!", I heard the same female voice that told me not to open it curse.
      The mist from the bottle twirled around me like it was happy I freed it from the goddam bottle. It entered my bottle through my ears, mouth and nose which made me start shaking with so much force. As I slumped on the floor as I saw the woman that cursed, running towards me.
     I closed my eyes as I drifted into a peaceful sleep.
