I woke up on a Saturday afternoon, realizing I slept through breakfast and half of my group therapy I flipped shit. I ran too the bathroom and washed off my makeup and redid it, then I brushed my teeth and straightened my hair. I'm in a fucking hurry so I don't have time to put into detail everything I'm doing . just go along with me.
I checked the clock on my phone and it was 12:30 p.m. "FUCK!!" I yelled. My room mate ran into my room with a worried look on her face. "What the hell?! Are you alright?!" She had a sub sandwich in her hand and part of the food in her mouth was falling out, she didn't care though because she was worried about me. "yeah sorry I'm fine I'm just late for my group therapy meeting, we are suppose o go on a field trip today to Washington D.C.," I scrambled my words on accident,"the plane leaves at 1:50 p.m.! Can you drive me to the airport?!" I start to panic but she drops her sandwich and kneels down beside me, shushing me with a hug," Andi it's okay, it's okay," then she realizes, "oh shit I forgot!," she starts to apologize," I'm so sorry I forgot all about it yeah I'll drive you come on get ready okay?" I smile and stand up. Lizzy always has my back when I'm freaking out. Sorry I'm scrambling, this chapter doesn't even make any sense does it? I'm just in a really big hurry. So I get ready and put a beanie on. As Lizzy drives away she puts on a cd of my favorite band. I calmed down some and she handed me a lunch bag as if she were my mother. I chuckled and rolled my eyes, "Did you put a nice little note inside too mom?" She chuckled and jabbed my thigh with her fist playfully. "Shut up, i wanted you to have a full tummy ,Daughter" we both laughed as we pulled out of the high way into the road that leads to the airport parking lot. "Fuck, I forgot my earbuds!" I say as I face palm. She smiles and hands me a freshly sealed pack of earbuds and side ways glances at me while driving, I smile wide and hug her. "Thank you so much Lizzy!" She grins, "I knew you would forget those old things sooner or later. " We smiled at each other as the car pulled into a parking spot and she put it in park. I hustled to get out of the car, pulling my suit case out of the trunk. "do you have my ticket?" I ask, she gives me a worried look. "n-no I thought you had it."
I'm speechless, wide eyed, my eyes begin to water and she giggles. "I'm kidding sissy I have it in my purse. "she hands it to me. I gasp and take it thoughtfully, kissing it as if it were my dog. "thank youuuu!!" I yelp out as I run to the entrance. She laughed and got back into her car and drove off.
As I ran through the airport trying to make it in time, it all felt as if I were traveling through time. It's hilarious, but I kinda felt like maybe the doctor was waiting at the gate in his Blue Tardis (sorry if I spelt it wrong) yelling with Ricer song about how to properly drive the machine. I felt a little grin stretch the corners of my mouth. Then it hit me. Literally, something hit me.
I felt flat on my ass. I looked up dizzily and realized that I had ran straight into a pillar that is used to charge your phone. All eyes looked at me, some snickers heard from all around. Then a hand reached down, down to me. I looked to the person who was connected to the hand and smiled, it was my group leader. She smiled back and helped me up.
"You barely made it Andrea," I shot her a look," I mean Andi." she corrected with an embarrassed grin. I smiled reassuringly, she understood. "Lets get going okay?" She asked, taking my bags from me thoughtfully. "Thank you and yeah let's go." I said before handing my ticket to the lady at the desk.

I get in the plane, and immediately feel nauseous. But I can't turn back and get off the plane now! I have come too far! So I keep going, I search for the perfect seat next to a window. So far I can't see one...fuck! I'm at the back of the plane and I can't find one!
"H-hey Andrea, you can sit by me if you want" a small voice calls from behind me, completely miss pronouncing my name. I turn my head and look down at a seat where the voice was coming from. A guy with longish dark brown hair, almost covering both eyes is looking up at me. "Aren't you that kid who never talks from our group?" I say as a nervous giggle escapes my mouth, I feel proud that he decided to say his first words to me.
I smile at him.
