The following week Elijah avoided Quinn. She tried speaking to him, but he would either walk out of the room or ignore her altogether. It was taking its toll and everyone in the villa could see that. Cairo had already threatened him for the disrespect, but it landed on deaf ears.
"We're going out ladies!" Alice called out to the girls sitting in the den. Quinn looked lost in her head as she stared out the window at the night's sky and Alice knew this was just what she needed. "Come on!" Alice said pulling a sulking Quinn up from the floor. "I don't want to go anywhere, Ali."
"Too bad because we're going dancing. We need this! You need this!" The rest of the girls agreed with cheers as they made their way to their bedrooms to get dressed. Quinn moved around robotically as she thought over Elijah's actions for the last seven days. He seemed disgusted by her. Repelled. And it hurt. It hurt so bad.
Tears began welling in her eyes. "No. No more tears, babes." Natalia spoke from her doorway. Quinn plopped on her bed and broke down. "Shh, it's okay." Natalia hugged her. "He hates me. He hates me, Nat and it hurts." Natalia rocked her as she rubbed her back.
"He doesn't hate you, but he's made it clear that he won't share you. You have to respect that and move forward with the ones that love you enough to give you the type of relationship that honestly seems organic and natural."
Quinn pulled back with sniffles to look at her hazel eyes. "You wouldn't have been able to pick just one, babes. This way he took the choice from you. You have two amazing men left to love you and that's more than most."
Quinn gave her a sad smile before nodding. "Let's get you dressed." Natalia rummaged through Quinn's closet before pulling out a white number that she felt worked magic.
"You wear this with these heels and meet us downstairs in twenty." Quinn nodded looking at the dress before heading into the bathroom to do her makeup. She was dressed and ready in thirty and looked at her reflection.
She noticed Elijah standing in the doorway and sighed. "I don't want to fight with you, Elijah. I just want to have a good time with the girls and come back home." He huffed loudly. "To your boyfriends."
Quinn turned around to face him. "Yes, my boyfriends. Two men who love me and understand that what we have cannot nor needs to be explained. Just because it doesn't fit in society's cookie cutter box doesn't make it wrong!"
She moved to walk past him, but he grabbed her arm. "You know you're making it a habit of grabbing me without my permission and it's pissing me off." Elijah dropped her arm roughly. "When men see you out and about with two men what do you think they'll feel they can grab without your permission."
Quinn slapped him with a swiftness. "I believed your words. The feelings you said you had for me, but if they were true, it wouldn't be so easy and natural for you to be this cruel to me. We're done, Elijah. You've been ignoring me for the past couple of days, so keep that same fucking energy and stay the fuck away from me."
