My Family

Natalia POV

     I'm walking through the hallway with Lavinia and Letha. We're just chit-chatting, laughing, just normal teenage girls. Sure the three of us have big last names, but without that info, no one would suspect anything.

     The three of us have superpowers. Most people think that's cool as fuck. Mostly because of the hero increase a while ago. However, some people are scared. I have powers similar to my mom. I was born with them, unlike Letha and Lavinia. Under Lavinia's bubbly aura, super-soldier serum is coursing through her veins. One of the side effects of the original serum was that your children get it, so that explains how Lavinia was born a super-soldier. Letha on the other hand got her powers a different way. 

     She was only 10. She was kidnapped. Experimented on, Abused, Raped, and other unspeakable things. All because her dad was one of their assassins nonconsensually. Long story short, she has deadly powers that she's scared of, and she lost her virginity at a very young age. 

     Pollux, Sabinus, and Gwen join the conversation. There are the children of the avengers, then there are the ones dating the children. Gwen and Sabinus are siblings. Gwen is dating Letha, Pollux is dating Lavinia, and Sabinus and I are dating. The 6 of us have been a chaotic-ass friend group since 1st grade. Lavinia, Letha, and I have been the chaos trio since we were babies though. 

     We stop at our lockers which were somehow put next to each other (thank you, uncle Bruce). We close our lockers and 3 blonde-haired, blue-eyed, girls dressed in all pink are in front of us. "Well, look what we have here," The lead one said.

     "Excuse us," Lavinia says gently and we start walking away. The three girls laugh as we pass them.

     "I didn't know they allowed sluts in this school!" We hear a voice shout from behind us. We all freeze. Letha buckles up and I can see the tears form. Lavinia and Gwen go to either side of her and hold her shoulders comfortingly. Pollux, Sabinus, and I start to move the group along while giving the girls a dirty stare. We continue forward until they shout at us again. "I also thought that psychos were stopped at the entrance!" That one got to me.

     Gwen holds on to Letha lovingly. Pollux and Sabinus exchange an 'oh no' look as Lavinia and I slowly turn around. I have a black aura around my hands, my eyes turning black. Lavinia clenches her fists. "You wanna say that again? You Regina George from Wish," I step towards her slowly.

     "What!?" The girl stomps her foot. Her fake designer heel clicks against the floor.

     "You heard her! Or is all that fake designer blocking your hearing," Lavinia snaps back.

     "HELP! THEY'RE THREATENING ME!" the girl squeals, "Please have mercy!" She gets down on her knees.

     "You want mercy! Oh, that isn't how it works. You see in my family, you die if you do that. Unfortunately, we're in school. But, You're still going to learn your lesson," I look her right in the eye and Lavinia comes up next to me. Lavinia punches her gut and she flies across the hallway into the wall. She falls and I teleport in front of her with my head tilted. I hover my hand over her face and put her in her worst nightmare. 

     "You okay?" Sabinus asks, slinging his arm over my shoulder and pulling me in with a squeeze. I look over to Letha. She was the one targeted. Gwen is comforting her while she's crying. Pollux is rubbing Lavinia's back while their walking. 

     "Yeah, I'm okay," I look up at him with a reassuring smile. The group walks into the classroom. Letha wipes the rest of her tears away as we do.

     "Good morning!" Wanda says cheerfully. Her face seems to drop when she gets a closer look at us. "What the fuck happened?" She asks with her hands on her hips. Letha looks over at Gwen, who looks to Sabinus, who looks to me, who looks to Lavinia, who looks at Pollux, who then looks at me. 

     "A Regina George wannabe called Letha a slut, then called her, and Lavinia, and myself, psychopaths," I look down. 

     "I punched her!" Lavinia raises her hand.

     "I put her in her worst nightmare!" I raise my hand as well.

     "We didn't try to stop them," Sabinus and pollux say at the same time. 

     "Good job guys, Letha, do you want to skip this class so you can have a break?" Wanda asks with a gentle tone.

     "Can the group join me?" She sniffles a little. 

     "Sure, take my car, and Steve's credit card," She tosses Sabinus the keys and Me the card.

     "Thanks, Aunt Wanda!" Letha says cheerfully. Let's just say after that day, no one messed with our family. Unless they want to lose their minds.
