Another college day finished, El walking on the way to her house, trying to resist her tears.
Why me again
When will they stop this , huh?
No El, stay strong. Mom shouldn't worry about me in this condition of her's. Stay strong.
Saying to herself she walked to her house and her eyes widened.
Her mom was on floor, unconscious. Lying near the table in the hall. They didn't had too big house (as accepted)
"MOM"she screamed kneeling down in front of her mom. She took her hand around her neck and with immense difficulty made her mom liye on the sofa. She was breathing heavily.
Then she ran upstairs to grab the medicine that doctor said to give her if she fainted, and bought them to her mom, prepared a glass of water and forced her mom to swallow them .
"Mom, wake up, wake up please" she was chanting slightly. Then her breathing become even. El sighed in relief, changed in comfy clothes and started with some work of home. After 30 mins or so her mom woke up.
"El dear, are you here?" Her mom said in a barrel audible voice. Good thing was that El was sitting near her so she herd her."yes Mom, I am here. How r you feeling right now. Do you want to see doctor." She came to sit near her mom.
"No dear, I am better now"
"You sure"
"Yes yes, just a little rest will be a good booster."
"Good thing. Then you'd better sleep ok"
"Okay"
She kissed her cheek and went off to sleep. And El again started with her homework.
They have been living like this from five years. Her dad died in a bad plane crash and it came to a terrible shock to them they only had this one house left for them selves and no relative came to help them. And then her mom fell ill. She had lung cancer and since then there life was no good. El was always good at studies which helped her to get schooler ship so that they didn't have to worry about her college fee.
El was her self not ok with her body. Ever since her father left them, obesity took her. She stared growing weak both physically and mentally. Rest of the middle school was not that bad because the classmates (most of them) knew what happened and supported her. Many of her 'dance mates' encouraged her to get back to dancing but she had nothing left to think forward. But she bought herself to at least studies.
An the last time when they went to doctor the doc said that the cancer in the lungs of her mother is increasing and she may not have much time left and also that her mother might will faint, heavy breathing will happen and may won't be able to sleep well.
She asked her mother that she can stop going to college and be with her but her mom strictly denied it. Not that she has been very strict but then too she wanted her child to gain success after her and so do every parent wish for their children.
Now the struggling she go through in the college is unknown by her mom. And she wishes that it all will be good soon.

Ad, on the other hand was at her home , lying on her bed listening to some music before her work time starts. she with her older brother had to work at a bar 6 days a week as a waiter cus they paid well. From 5 to 11, sometimes 1 in the morning. She worked on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and her brother worked the rest of the days and had day off on Sundays.
Her life is quite well now. Well not use to be though.
It was all fine in her family, she had a older brother and two younger brother, living well with there parents. She was the only girl, but lived like a boy which her parents didn't liked. She knew that her older brother is gay and so was she and her brother knew. They both were really close to each other and shared everything thing with each other.
One day they both decided to come out to their parents, but they knew that must not be easy as their parents were not open minded and supportive at all. The only help given was of money.
As they knew their parents kicked them out. Her brother, Chris, had already signed up for an apartment And Ad was glad. She always appreciate her brother.
Her brother was two years older then her studing law and a basketball champ. He was in the last year of his collage. Chris then will have a job and then they not have to work at that bar which was a no good place.
It was the life that we have to live just treat it well and you won't denie it.
