Perrie's P.O.V
Finally.
It is time to go and tell Jesy all about this brunette. As I walk over to Jesy and I's spot, I walk past that same brunette. She was walking with a darker-skinned girl, with long black hair. As I go past her, we make eye contact again, and I smile slightly at her, and I swear I saw her cheeks heat up.
As I went to Jesy and I's spot, I noticed again that the stunning brunette and her friend sat only a few tables away from where we were going to sit. Jesy and I have always sat at the same table since the day that we first started going here. Even in primary school, we had our own spot that we would sit at every day.
I only had to sit for a few minutes by myself, before Jesy rocked up, and plonked her stuff on the table. As soon as she sat down, she told me to quickly spill the tea about what happened only a few hours earlier in my lecture.
As I was talking with her, out of the corner of my eye, I could see that same brunette kept looking over at me, so I looked at her and sent a wink her way. Her friend sitting next to her started shaking her shoulders and smiling. Of course, Jesy noticed and she asked if that was the girl I was talking about and I said yes.
Our 45-minute lunch break ended, and I grabbed my stuff and walked to my locker to prepare for my last lecture of the day. Jesy and I's lockers we directly opposite each other, and we had our last lecture together. When I was standing at my locker, I noticed someone open the locker next to mine. As soon as I look up, I met the beautiful eyes, that belonged to the brunette.
When she noticed it was me, she smiled brightly at me and extended her hand for me to shake. I placed my hand in her hand, and straight away noticed how soft and smooth they were, but it also felt like they had a layer of protectiveness and a sense of safety in them.
"Jade. Jade Thirlwall"
"Nice to finally put a beautiful name to a beautiful face" I replied.
"Thank you..."
"Edwards, Perrie Edwards"
After our little interaction, she walked away with the highest smile on her face, and I also had a smile plastered on my face as well. Before my last lecture, I write my number on a small piece of paper and slide it into her locker. It read:
Jade,
It was nice to finally know your name. I hope to see more of you around.

After sliding the note into her locker, I strutted off to my last lecture. At the end of the lecture, I was packing my stuff up to go home, when I suddenly got a text from an unknown number. Thinking it was spam, I told myself not to read it until I was home.
On the way to Jesy's car, I walked past Jade and her still-unnamed friend. I gave her a big bright smile, showing all of my teeth, and she just copied my smile back. It made my heart flutter at the sight.
As I was still walking to Jesy's car, I noticed that Jesy had just watched that whole interaction with Jade and I. Jesy smiled nicely at me, and started to tease me straight away.
"Ooohhh, Pez has got a girlfriend!"
"SHUT UP JESSICA"
"Hahahha lol" She replied.
The rest of the car ride was filled with us not having a single care in the world, singing at the top of our lungs, and just bantering with each other. When we got to my apartment block, I hopped out of her car and asked her if she wanted to come in and stay, but she said that she has to go back to her parent's house because they needed her help.
As I was walking up the stairs, I realised that there were a lot of boxes in the apartment next to mine. When I got closer to my door, I took my time opening my own door to see who my new neighbour could possibly be.
I see the door open, and those beautiful brown eyes meet my beaming blue eyes. Jade. Jade my next-door neighbour. Could this day get any better, I thought to myself.
"Oh hey Perrie"
"Hey Jade, I didn't realise that you were moving in here"
"Yeah I am, and Leigh Anne is here to help me unpack. LEIGH ANNE"
"Yeah, Jade, who is at the door?" Leigh Anne screamed from the back of the apartment.
"Leigh Anne, this is Perrie, the one that I was telling you about"
"Nice to know your name, Leigh Anne," I said as I extended my hand out for a handshake, the same way I did when I met Jade earlier in the day.
Instead of accepting my handshake, she pulled me into an unexpected but caring hug, which I of course returned. While we were in that position she whispered:
"From what I have heard, you seem like one that will stick around for a while"
Of course, I blushed at that and looked up to also see Jade blushing like mad and looking down at the floor.
"Okay, well I have to get inside, see you later guys"
Both of the girls replied with a simple 'bye Perrie', before also going back into Jade's new apartment.
As soon as I got into my own apartment, I placed all of my books unto my kitchen table, and started to scroll through my social media on my phone. I quickly thought back about what happened during the day, then I remembered that I had gotten a random text after school. Opening my messages, I clicked on the one unread message that I had. It read:
To Perrie:
Hey Perrie,
It is Jade here, I got your note in my locker and decided to see if this was actually your number.
