As said in last charapter, shortly before I was 18, I was in Army.
Yeah, 5 days before I turned 18, I was finally put in Army, the first group of entire Military system, which protects country in war.
Since I was in military earlier then my group and I was very good leader, after year of knowing each other and extra trainings, at age 19 (exactly on my birthday 21.05.2013) I was named as Senior lieutenant of Ukrainian Ground Forces and also of my group too.
I never expected to be leved up this fast, but General explained that I do not deserve a role under new role in Army, what shocked me, since I never kept in mind how powerful I was and am.Little side note:
What is Senior lieutenant?
Good question!
Senior lieutenant is a military grade between a lieutenant and a captain, often used by countries from the former Eastern Bloc. It is comparable to first lieutenant.
(Thanks to Wikipedia for little help TwT)Let's continue with the story!
Me and my group were celebrating my new role.
Not long thought, since on next day around 6 AM we all heard the siren, which none of us (Army and normal citizens) wanted to hear:
It was bomb and with it war siren.
While it was sounding, I already was in my uniform (I forgot to take it off day before due exhaustion) and I jumped up from my bed, putting my protection clothes over my body, taking all guns and weapons in general, rushing out of camp, waking and checking in others.
I was yelling and moved fast to be sure everyone follows me as I was now responsible for the group.
As soon as half of group was out, we all rushed after General's command to place were other country's soldiers were seen.
And this time we got attacked from Kazakhstan.
Shitty situation, not gonna lie.
Thankfully it wasn't a big war, but serious one still.
We quickly found the Kazakhstan's soldiers and with quick moves and gun shots got them down.
Our tanks and helicopters with bombs were on the way, so we felt safe enough to move further to the hotspot of war, which was Lugansk this time.
"What did Kazakhstan even do here in Ukraine? Why did they attack?
What they want from us? We still haven't recovered from attack from Russia's side."
That kind of questions and thoughts I had in my head while rushing to Hotspot of war.
It was my first war and I knew that this won't be easy, but this experience will help me get stronger and get my year long planned revenge.
My mom was by my side, risking own Life too but that's for what we are here.
We protect the country regardless how much it will cost us.War was long, 2 damn years.
I was 21 when war ended.
I lost many friends, I lost my teachers, I lost people who mattered for me.
I still had my mom and General.
We all were injured, dangerously, but it didn't stop is from laughing and telling jokes.
You know jokes about Ukrainian farmers stealing tanks?
Yeah, it's funny and we had the same situation what cracked us all possible time.
I'm glad we had fun even in that time and could stay positive in general.
That second war is coming up and that I'll get second and third most critical injuries, I had not a single idea and didn't even think it could happen...
