pases of emptiness

 It has been a few days since Emily wrote her exams and now she is by the Lake with the twins and Lee Jordan. 

"The potions exam was so hard, and when it came to the practical exam Snape was standing infront of my cauldron the whole time and when I needed ingredients, I swear he always tried to block my way.." Emily was telling them, how her exams went. "If it wasn't for Sara I would probably have not known anything. How did your exams go guys?" Emily asked.

"Who's Sara? Anyways mines were decent." said Lee, Emily nodded in acknowledgement. "Sara is the girl who tutors Em in potions." "Ours weren't so bad either. We will pass." said Fred and then George. 

After talking a little more about the exams, the topic of summer came up. While Lee was talking about his plans for the break, Emily walked up to the water, took of her shoes and socks and walked into the water. ".. So these are my plans. What are you guys planning for the break? By the way Emily what are you doing there?" said Lee, and all three of them turned to look at her, as she do a little spin in the water. "Yeah little one, what are doing?" said Fred questioningly, but there was an amused smile on his face. "What? I'm just enjoying the cool water.It's so shooting." a cheeky smile plastered on her face. " I will go to Germany this summer with my Aunt. However, I still don't know when. It depends on her work. But we won't be there the whole summer, so we can still meet....if you want to, of course!" said Emily with a little hesitation at the end. The twins face lit up. They've planned on hanging out last year, but with some last minute events none of them could find a date that would have worked for all of them. 

" Wicked!" "Brilliant!" exclaimed the three boys upon hearing that. "We could ask the girls as well!" "And you could also invite your hufflepuff mates!" the twins got really excited and already started to plan the best hang out ever, while Lee and Emily listened to them with happy grins.

After a few minutes of more talking and the twins talking about the awsome plans they made for the break, they started heading inside. After dinner they walked to the stairs that led to the dungeons. The boys said good nights to Emily and the girl promised to ask her housemate friends about the hang out plans. Emily headed to her commonroom in the dungeons, while the boys went to set up some "small" pranks in the corridors foor the next day.

Emily entered her common room and immediately went up to her dorm where her two closest friends where already there chatting about their exams.They were already ready for  It's not that the twins weren't her close friends, but there were somethings that she only discussed with Hannah and Bridget. For instance the "girl things" like crushes and some new dessert recepies they recently found, or family things they needed to share with someone.

"Hey girls! How did your exams go?" she asked when she entered. "They were fine. I had the most trouble with divination, but who doesn't? "said Hanna and then Bridget continude. "Mines were fine as well, though I hope I will get a decent grade for Transfiguration. I messed it up a littlebit." said Bridget with a little embarrassment in her voice. " Don't worry Bri, we will help you just ask us if you don't understand something, right Hannah?" offered Emily reassuringly. "Absolutely!" answered Hannah cheerfully. "Thanks guys..That means a lot." said Bridget thankfully. "Right, I almost forgot! Silly me.." said Emily out of the blue. "What is it Em?" asked the two girl at once. "Would you like to hang out with me , the twins and some other Griffindors during the summer break? " "I would love to! It would be so great to get to know them better!" said Hannah. " I would love that too, but are you sure it will be fine for them? I wouldn't want them to feel forced to spend time with us..." said Bridget a little unsure of herself. " You don't have to worry about that Bri. Actually the boys insisted that I invite you as well. "said Emily happily and after a few more words the two girl went to sleep, while Emily went into the bathroom to get ready for bed.

After taking a shower and brushing her teeth she left the bathroom and sat on her bed. Clodia, her cat jumped up onto her bed comfotably lay down on the girls lap. The girl pulled her secret box out of it's hiding place and after checking that her roommates were asleep she pulled out the photos of her parents and looked at them. She had seen them hunderds of times before but she still got lost in them every time. When tiredness hit her she put away the photos and their box and cuddled up with Clodia and drifted into her dream land.

A/N: I am terribly sorry that I have been away for almost a year. I just lost a lot of motivation and couldn't get myself to write. I know this isn't a very eventful and long chapter but I do hope that you still like it. I don't know when will the next part be out. The only thing I know that it will be a recap of Emily's summer.
