Chapter 2:The Goddess Of Balance, Ianite

"Wh-What is that? " ask Tiffany while getting her guards up.

"Not sure, just be on guar-watch out!" suddenly the black figure launch balls of black projectile towards us. I slash three of them and dodge the rest.

Before I knew it there's new projectile flying towards us again,4 from behind and 6 direct from the front. Damn it, my broadsword disappear from my hand and instead I summon a wall of clear wall around us. All the projectile hits the shell and explode into purple-black smoke. The view now become misty and darker.

"As soon as I put this shell down, ran to back of the class as fast as you can, okay? " I tell Tiffany,maintaining the shell.

"Okay, but how about you? " she ask in a worried tone.

I smile and reply, "I'll be fine, I promise. " then, she hug me from behind and get into position to run.

"Okay, on my mark. 3,2,1,GO!" I let the shell down and I summon a Dragonic Plate shield on my left hand while the other hand I summon Twisted Dragon's blade. I can hear Tiffany yell noting she's at the back. Now, show me what you got!

I swing my shield around me, clearing the smoke away. As the view slowly becoming more clearer a chain appears in front of me. I block it with my shield making the chain tangled up around my shield. I try my best to untangle it but fail but instead, the chain pull my shield away. With no shield on me to protect I grip the handle of the broadsword a start swing it at the are where the chain pulled my sword.

"Ting! " sound my sword making contact with a metallic surface. Gotcha! I quickly withdraw my sword and reach out into the black mist with my left hand. As soon as I make contact with some sort fabric like substance I grab it and pull it around me. I can see the black figure, wearing something like a robe covering herself from head to toe, fling around the direction I pull her into. It's looks like I grab it's right shoulder. Both of us spin 180° and swing our weapons and stop it near each other's neck.

"Put your weapon down and I'll do mine." I command.

The figure snickered and put the chain raising both its arm. I disarm myself and take a few step back. Tiffany come running to me and hide behind me, holding on to my school uniform.

Both of us take a breath I ask the robe figure,"Who are you and what do you want from both us? Answer me! " I raise my voice making both Tiffany and the figure startled.

Suddenly, the figure starts to let out a small giggle. After awhile, the figure speak up. "Not bad for an introvert. Surprisingly you still don't have a clue do you? "

The figure pull down the robe that covering her face revealing a short purple hair woman like in her early 20s. I tried my best to recall who is she but failed.

"My goodness, it's me Lady Ianite from Mianite. I can't believe it, you're a fanboy of The Mianite series that Jordan's played and still can't recognize me? Damn,that's good. " she laughed. Lady Ianite? I scan her from head to toe and finally realized that she is Ianite?!

"How, when, why and what are you doing here??? I mean in real life? " I ask her still can't process this whole brand new information.

"My dear V, it's not your concern now. I'm here is to give you a message from the realm. Your life is going to become harder as soon as you step out of this room making you have to face countless obstacle. Be ready." she exclaimed. Both me and Tiffany shocked and speechless. Suddenly, echoes of footsteps filled the room.

"It's time already? Man, I thought I could talk like this even longer but it is what it is. " she turned and a portal appears in front of her.

"How did you know that? " I ask, hoping for a clear answer.

"How do ask? Just let say a wild guess, anyway good luck,you'll need it. By the way, your si-" I tried to hear the last part but failed. The portal shuts right before the Principal comes in.

"Sorry for disturbing but Ventus, I need to tell you that you don't need to do your patrols for today. That's all. " with a smile on his face he walk out of them room.

I quickly turn and face Tiffany checking for injuries. "Are you okay? You're not hurt,right?"

"Nah, I think I'm good,the matter now are you okay? " she exclaim with a smile. I nod and hug her. Both of us broke the hug and grab out bags.

"As what the Principal just said, you can go home early today right? " she ask while rearranging my uniform.

"It seems like it. " I replied. Right after I accidentally use my supernatural powers to save my lunch from falling off,everybody starts saying I'm a super hero or some stuff. From that on, supernatural stuff starts to appears and who do they call to solve it, me! This makes the principal set me into a 'hero routine' where my job is to patrol around the school making sure the school is safe. Life sucks man....

"C'mon, let's go! " Tiffany grab my hands and drag me towards to door. I grab my stuff and follow her. I speed up and whisper right into her right ear "I love you. " making her blush. Both of us make our way out of the school compound and the streets.
