The harsh wind blew my  hair  in my face as  I  walked the stairs to her porch . "Lea, please answer me, we can fix this, you don't have to do this." I begged.

I went higher up the stairs, my heart in my throat.

she had called me earlier, she had  sounded scared and breathy. " I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I know I promised but i can't "  was all she said before she cut off. I tried calling her but she turned her phone off.

I walked into her room hoping she was in there and safe.

My heart sank as I saw she wasn't there. I checked everywhere in the walk in closet, the bathroom, even the mini closet, even the bathroom. All that's left is the balcony. Her room looked messy when i was walking in like she had been in a rush

With tears in my eyes I slowly walked over to the balcony  begging with every step I took that she was ok and just playing a huge and very wrong prank on me.

When I finally got over to the balcony  and looked down bracing myself for the worst only to see her in her undergarments, in her backyard barefoot in the snow that was stained with crimson blood streaming from the seemingly self-inflicted  cuts on her wrists.

There was one side of a  rope wrapped  around her neck and the other in her hands. She was on a stool wrapping the rope around the branch of their wisteria tree staining their white azalea flowers in the process.

"Lea stop!!!" I screamed and she turned to look at me staring at me while she finished wrapping the rope around the tree branch.

I began climbing down her balcony only to slip and fall down into the flowers.

When she saw me she began pulling down the rope hanging herself in the process.

"I'm sorry Ophelia but I can't do this anymore, I feel dirty like I can't scrub it off. I hate it. I hate the fact that they get away with it,  the fact I let them get away with it. " she sobbed, choking out the words.

my whole body was sore from the fall but seeing her like this i couldn't just sit and watch.

I got up and slowly limped towards her.

"What are you talking about?" I asked as the words just sunk into me.

"it's not your fault lia" was the last she breathed before there was absolutely nothing.

I'm rushing my morning routine waiting for her voice to come on the phone.

I wake up but for real this time I'm so sad but I don't even know the girl from my dream.
