The Beginning.
Harwin Academy Soul Library.
Melrose Faith.

Mel had been engrossed in the book that Kean's grandfather had bestowed to him, it was actually fascinating to learn of the greater demons in more detail than ever, leave it to house Gabriel to be scholars in times of true tragedy but maybe it wasn't such a bad thing, —he was getting all the information he needed now because of it. "Korva will do anything to bring desolation upon the mortal realm, he is insatiable." Mel whispered to himself as a vision took hold in his mind.

The world was burning, demons and angels fighting fiercely over the sea and the land that had been scorched and torn apart, even when the battles had shifted to the sea, nature was too terrified to grow yet again and Melrose stood in the middle of it all, grateful this was only a vision of present past conjured by his power over time now.

"Quickly, he's been subdued!" He heard the calls as angels and hunters quickly formed a rune of binding with their very bodies around Korva, he was in his human form, a man seven foot tall, skin golden and eyes obsidian, only a demon of chaos could have such an allure. "By the power of the celestials we banish you from this land." The leader began as he drew out a knife made of crystal imbued with celestial power and carved off pieces of Korva's body. "No, no, —you cannot do this, I will have this world, I will have my revenge!" He screamed as he was dismembered and each piece was placed into eight objects, relics that in Mel's time they'd be known by.

As the last piece was cut off the demons that Korva had created for his army began to flee but they didn't get far as hunters killed them mercilessly. Mel now realized how the war had been won, the demon had been immortal so they couldn't kill him but they could partition his essence, celestial power like he'd assumed was his only weakness, therefore to kill Korva they needed to find the source of his immortality and destroy it then amass enough celestial energy to burn away his essence from all the realms completely.

Mel's vision began to fade away as his own body began to materialize in the present. "Mastering your abilities." Harry muttered as Mel realized he wasn't in the library anymore, he was in Harry's office, with his things, he expected to see Angelo with his uncle but the little troublemaker had gone home to Oldenheim since he had his own tutors waiting for him there, plus Harwin could tolerate him for a few more days but on Mel's part, it would've been taking advantage of school policy because he was an arch angel and his uncle was the headmaster. "No, I thought I was having a vision, now that I think about it, it was too vivid to be a vision, I'd actually gone back to the past, my power subconsciously took me there." Mel explained as realization indeed dawned on him. "That's excellent news, you've mastered going back and forth in time yourself, but what's crucial is that you learn to put someone back in time because something is wrong." Harry explained and Mel groaned, ofcourse something was wrong.

"What happened now?" Mel asked as he took a seat opposite Harry, his uncle sighed as he also took a seat. "The ClairHaven has traitors." Harry stated and that statement alone revealed all that Mel needed to know, someone had taken the relics of the insatiable demon's essence and gave them to their owner, meaning Korva had six pieces of essence back. "We need to find the council and have them place the crystal in the school's cardinal, the celestial energy should be enough to protect the school of any demons even the insatiable." Mel exclaimed surprising Harry. "How do you know that?" He demanded and Mel smiled. "At first it was just a thought, but when I went back, I saw how they carved out the demon's essence, they used a crystal dagger brimming with celestial power, it's the only thing strong enough to hold and kill him." Mel explained to a very pleased Harry.
